Well, if you are not a gamer of course. What is more important for content creators and Web designers is the color accuracy, and the overall ability to display color, which this laptop does at a great level – it covers 100% of sRGB and 100% of Adobe RGB. Additionally, we have found that the embedded Adobe RGB preset from Acer outputs the most accurate image with a dE below 2.0.

At the same time, though, this is not as portable as other options, doesn't run significantly better or cooler, and doesn't offer the business features you'll find with some of the beefier alternatives either, so it might be a hard sell in its professional-targeted niche.

If you’re a busy professional who wants to be able to work “on the go” but also have a powerful Creative laptop when at home, the ConceptD 5 can fulfill both roles, thanks to its peak performance and large battery capacity. 64GB of RAM and the RAID0 SSD option might set it apart from gaming laptops in the same price range as neither of these is crucial to gamers. A purposefully designed computer increases the value-proposition of the end-product.

EN→ITThe whole idea of a creator laptop is somewhat new. Up until a few years ago when Acer launched products like its ConceptD brand and others did the same, and when NVIDIA started pushing “Studio laptops”, you’d just buy a gaming laptop if you wanted something for editing video. After all, the internal hardware really isn’t different. You’re still getting that 45W CPU and dedicated graphics. The Acer ConceptD 5 does all of this. I realize that I can’t look at this as a complete picture because this is a pre-production unit, but speaking as someone who has reviewed ConceptD laptops and knows what to expect, along with seeing what’s new here like this beautiful display, the Acer ConceptD 5 is going to be pretty awesome.

EN→ITI’m convinced the “D” in ConceptD 5 stands for “Damn, I’m daunting!” The Acer mobile workstation is packed with an eight-core, 16-thread 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series GPU, a 3K Pantone-certified panel and a generous variety of ports. if I were a ConceptD 5 rival, I’d be shaking in my boots. However, the numbers don’t lie, and we’d have to test a ConceptD 5 production model to see if it deserves a seat at the “best content-creator laptop” throne. The only aspect of the ConceptD 5 I’m worried about is its thermals (and possibly the battery life); it got toasty performing lightweight processes, so I’m looking forward to the heat test results.

Acer: Nel 1976, l'azienda è stata fondata a Taiwan con il nome Multitech e nel 1987 è stata ribattezzata Acer o Acer Group. La gamma di prodotti comprende, ad esempio, laptop, tablet, smartphone, desktop, monitor, TV e periferiche per computer. Dal 2007, il gruppo si è fuso con Gateway Inc. e Packard Bell, che commercializzano anche le proprie linee di prodotti per laptop.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (Laptop):
Scheda grafica dedicata di media gamma per computer portatili professionali basata sulla GTX 1650 consumer ma con meno shaders. Utilizza quindi l'architettura Turing senza raytracing e Tensor cores.
NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 (Laptop):
Scheda grafica professionale di fascia alta per laptop basata sulla GeForce RTX 2070 consumer (chip TU106) con 2.304 shaders e 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Rispetto alla variante desktop, questa GPU ha un clock inferiore. Offre drivers certificati ottimizzati per la stabilit‡ e le prestazioni.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia medio-alta basata sull'architettura Turing con funzionalit‡ di raytracing e 1.920 shaders. Rispetto all'analoga scheda desktop con nome simile, offre valori di clock ridotti.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU: Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip Ampere GA106 con 3072 core. Disponibile in diverse versioni con un TDP da 60 a 115 Watt.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU:
Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip Ampere GA104. Disponibile in diverse versioni con un TDP da 80 a 125 Watt e diverse velocità massime di clock Boost di 1035 - 1485 MHz.

Intel Core i7:
i7-8705G:
Processore quad-core per notebook basato sull'architettura Kaby Lake a 3,1 - 4,1 GHz. Integra una veloce memoria grafica HBM2 da 4GB che può essere usata anche come cache della CPU e l'elevato TDP di 65 Watt può portare ad una maggiore prestazione della CPU rispetto al simile Core i7-7920HQ. Simile al Core i7-8706G, ma senza supporto vPro.
Intel Coffee Lake:

i7-11800H:
SoC octa-core di fascia alta basato su Tiger Lake (serie H45) per computer portatili da gioco e workstation. Gli otto core della CPU funzionano da 2,3 GHz a 4,6 GHz. La GPU UHD Graphics integrata offre 32 UE fino a 1,45 GHz. Il chip è prodotto sul processo Intel SuperFin di seconda generazione a 10 nm.

Un processore mobile basato su Alder-Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper-threading, consentendo l'elaborazione di 20 thread. Il processore opera a frequenze comprese tra 1,7 e 4,7 GHz e supporta vPro.
