If you're the kind of person who keeps a laptop or netbook around the house or office and uses it mostly for consuming web media (that is, not so much typing), you're exactly who the JooJoo is aiming for - it's a neat, lightweight device that has potential to do web browsing well, and if your work is in web apps then you'll be able to work from the JooJoo with just a keyboard and mouse. Don't expect it to replace any of your PCs, per se - it just might be nicer to use in certain situations where you're currently using a PC, like when you're catching up on the day's news or nosing through Hulu. Ultimately, the JooJoo is more like a litmus test for tablets: if you're tempted by a $500 (£306) device designed for web browsing, you should check out the JooJoo. The challenge will be for Fusion Garage to deliver a product that will not only carve out and establish the tablet market space, but also be able to hold on to it in case long-rumoured tablets from Apple or Microsoft come calling.

The JooJoo may be the cheaper option, but with the iPad's smoother operation, quicker performance, huge variety of apps and better media support, it's not the best value for money. Even if you only use the web browser, the iPad still remains our tablet of choice.

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M (G) / ION (LE): Scheda grafica integrata a memoria condivisa. La trovate nei nuovi MacBook, MacBook Pro e MacBook Air. Conosciuta anche come GeForce 9400M G. Integrato trovate un processore PureVideo HD (VP3).

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Intel Atom:

La Intel Atom è una serie a 64-Bit di microprocessori (non tutti i modelli supportano 64bit) per portatili economici e piccoli (chiamati comunemente netbooks), MIDs, o UMPCs (Ultra Mibile Persona Computer). La particolarità della nuova architettura è l'esecuzione "in order" (al posto della consueta e più veloce esecuzione "out of order"). Di conseguenza il transistor count della serie Atom è abbastanza inferiore, e quindi più economico da produrre. Inoltre, il consumo di energia è molto contenuto. Le prestazioni per Megahertz sono ovviamente peggiori rispetto ai vecchi Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz alla pari di 1.6 GHz Atom).

N270: CPU single core economico e lento, a basso consumo, per Netbook. A causa dell'esecuzione in-order, le prestazioni per MHz sono peggiori rispetto ad un processore Core Solo o ad un Celeron M.

1.1 kg: Questo subnotebook è uno dei più leggeri di tutti i portatili e può essere trasportato con estrema semplicità. Difficilmente si trovano altri modelli in questa fascia di peso.
 7-9 pollici sono la norma per questa categoria di peso.
