Dell Latitude E6410: Minding Intel's Business

Dell didn't send us this laptop, and it may not be their best foot forward. That's not to say that the E6410 is a bad laptop, but like the ThinkPad T-series there's a price premium for the build quality and reliability. During the past month or so of using the E6410 as my primary work/travel laptop, I've been quite happy with it. It's not too heavy, plenty fast, and gets good battery life.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics:

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Intel Core i7:

620M: Il Core i7-620M e la CPU Dual-Core più veloce per portatili (al momento del lancio nel 2010). La 620M ha un clock tra i 2.66 ed i 3.33 GHz grazie al Turbo Mode ed all'Hyperthreading, possono essere eseguiti 4 simultaneamente. Nella confezione, Intel include anche una GPU integrata (GMA HD) ed un controller di memoria. Di conseguenza, il TDP di 35 Watt dell'intero pacchetto risulta comunque buono.

14.1": I display da 14 pollici sono un misto tra i formati piccoli dei subnotebooks ed i 15 pollici dei display standard. La ragione per cui così tante persone preferiscono displays con dimensioni medie dipende dal fatto che tale dimensione non crea particolari problemi alla vista, non richiede troppa energia ed i portatili riescono ad avere dimensioni abbastanza compatte.

2.24 kg: Questo portatile è più leggero rispetto alla media di tutti i notebooks. Ma è troppo pesante per essere un sub-notebooks.
