Il prezzo di partenza di questo Redmi Note 10 5G è di 229€ per la versione 4/64 GB e di 249€ per quello da 4/128 GB. Spesso si trova in offerta a 199€. Nonostante le buone prestazioni, questa volta Redmi non mi ha convinto a pieno. L’assenza di una camera grandangolare e la luminosità massima non adeguatamente alta mi hanno deluso. Bene l’autonomia e le prestazioni, che si dimostrano senza dubbio punti di forza di tale device. Purtroppo la poca attenzione riservata agli aspetti sopra nominati gli fa perdere punti.

Nonostante le buone prestazioni, questa volta Redmi non mi ha convinto a pieno. L’assenza di una camera grandangolare e la luminosità massima non adeguatamente alta mi hanno deluso. Bene l’autonomia e le prestazioni, che si dimostrano senza dubbio punti di forza di tale device. Purtroppo la poca attenzione riservata agli aspetti sopra nominati gli fa perdere punti.

Redmi Note 10 5G, velocità e ottime foto a 199 euro. I telefoni di fascia bassa non esistono più

A tendere, questo, potrebbe diventare un bel problema per i produttori di telefoni: tutto quello che è stato aggiunto negli ultimi anni per aumentare o mantenere alto il prezzo di listino dei prodotti premium non è diventato un qualcosa di fondamentale. Non lo sono i GB di RAM, non lo sono gli schermi con risoluzione super a 120 Hz e neppure quelli curvi. Non lo sono neppure i sensori da 108 megapixel, o i tele periscopici. Mentre i produttori cercavano soluzioni per giustificare i modelli più redditizi, allo stesso modo hanno lottato tra loro per prendere quote nel segmento più venduto, quello che aiuta ad aumentare le quote. I telefoni da 200 euro sono così cresciuti, sono migliorati e ora sono diventati signori telefoni che, se non fosse per i prezzo, difficilmente si potrebbero definire di fascia bassa.

La versione 4/64 costa 229€ mentre la 4/128 249€. I pro sono sicuramente 5G e autonomia, i contro invece sono delle rinunce, fatte proprio per il 5G, come quella sul display e sull'affidabilità del sistema. Io sicuramente a lui preferisco il Redmi Note 10 non 5G.

La versione 4/64 costa 229€ mentre la 4/128 249€. I pro sono sicuramente 5G e autonomia, i contro invece sono delle rinunce, fatte proprio per il 5G, come quella sul display e sull'affidabilità del sistema. Io sicuramente a lui preferisco il Redmi Note 10 non 5G.

The Redmi Note 10 5G is somewhat intriguing due to its 5G connectivity and solid performance. The variable refresh rate is a nice touch, even if you take out my experiences with stutters, and the Dimensity 700 can handle most of what you might want to throw at it. Even battery life is going to be great thanks to the combination of the LCD display and the massive 5,000mAh battery. But you’re going to instantly be smacked with disappointment when it comes time to re-charge your phone. What makes this such a difficult phone to recommend is purely thanks to Xiaomi. The company’s Poco M3 Pro is priced even lower, features practically the same spec sheet, and looks almost identical. This includes the 5,000mAh battery, Dimensity 700 SoC, and the same triple camera array. There’s even a 90Hz refresh rate mode on the M3 Pro, adding insult to injury. Truthfully, the only reason we would really recommend grabbing the Redmi Note 10 5G over the M3 Pro is if you can’t get your hands on the Poco option.

However, if you’re in an area that already benefits from better speeds 5G can offer and don’t mind the tradeoffs this phone has, then definitely this is for you.

We were also let down by that camera, which struggled far too often to capture respectable photos and video. Now, thanks to the Dimensity 700 processor, there’s a selection of very similar 5G phones available for a third cheaper but with 90Hz screens. Xiaomi’s effort in the Redmi Note 10 5G is a good one, but there are plenty of signs that it’s built on a budget. So if you won’t be happy with a screen that has mediocre colours and viewing angles, or decidedly average cameras, then it may not be the best choice for you. Then again, the alternatives aren’t a whole lot better. The Realme 8 5G may be thinner, lighter and have a 16Mp selfie camera, but it uses the slower UFS 2.1 storage. So tradeoffs are inevitable: it’ll be down to which components you value most that determines which of the bunch is the best.
