An update to last year's T115, the Toshiba Satellite T215D-S1140RD performs like a slightly larger, faster Netbook with better specs and ports. It's definitely a step up, but it may not be enough computer for those with higher expectations.

Still, when it comes to AMD-powered 11-inch machines, we prefer Dell's Inspiron M101z. That ultraportable offers a better typing experience and richer sound. And the reigning champ in this category remains the Intel-powered Acer Aspire 1810TZ--if you can find it for sale--which offers more than 8 hours of battery life.

Somebody listened to their mother, and this time, that somebody is Toshiba, bucking the Intel Atom-CPU trend and opting for an AMD processor for its 11.6-inch-screened T215D-S1140. The Satellite T215D provides plenty of reasons to spend a little extra on a netbook, with its roomy screen, full-size keyboard and touch pad, and strong performance.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.

K125: Lento processore single core di fascia bassa per portatili piccoli e leggeri. Ma comunque più veloce rispetto ai sistemi Atom based da 1.6 Ghz.
