The chocolate look of the Samsung R540 is combined with the fact that it's a comfortable and quiet laptop to use. An all-rounder, it is at ease with office documents and has a numberpad. On the downside, its screen lacks contrast and the touchpad is too small.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v: In pratica una GPU HD 5145 con un nuovo nome (che a sua volta era una HD 4570 con un clock superiore) e di conseguenza classificabile come scheda grafica di fascia bassa con supporto DirectX 10.1.Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: Scheda grafica intregrata basata sul chipset GM45 (Montevina). Più performante rispetto alla vecchia GMA X3100 grazie ha due shader in più ed ad un clock più elevato. Rimane, comunque, non consigliata per i giocatori più incalliti. Il processore video integrato è capace di codificare video HD (AVC/VC-2/MPEG2). Ad esempio permette la riproduzione di video HD compatibile con i requisiti del logo Blu-Ray, con il supporto nativo per unità Blu-Ray.ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M: Il core grafico dell'Intel GL40 e della GS40 sfrutta una GMA 4500MHD con un clock inferiore (400 contro 533 MHz). Intel Core i5: 450M: Dovrebbe essere simile alla Core i5-520M ma senza funzioni AES.Intel Core i3: Intel Pentium: P6100: L'Pentium P6100 è una CPU di fascia bassa basata sul core Arrandale. Rispetto al Celeron P4600, il P6100 offre prestazioni leggermente migliori grazie al System Bus più veloce ed all'incremento di Level 3 cache. Tuttavia, non sono disponibili VT-x per il P6100.
