Siamo quindi al momento di chiudere questa recensione e come sempre vi lascio con un paio di considerazioni che partono dal prezzo e dal posizionamento. La configurazione nelle nostre mani, ovvero quella con Core i9, 32 GB di RAM, RTX 4070 e SSD da 512 GB, è offerta ad un prezzo di listino di 3499 euro. In valore assoluto è sicuramente una cifra elevata, e magari, rinunciando a qualcosina in termini di dimensioni si possono portare a casa soluzioni simili a prezzi anche più bassi. Ma direi che non ha molto senso discuterne, non è una soluzione per tutti e chi ha questa disponibilità o ha per forza bisogno di questo tipo di strumenti non si farà spaventare dal posizionamento. Un posizionamento che, tra l’altro, è esattamente 60 euro meno del MacBook pro 16 base con 32 GB di memoria unificata e SSD da 512 GB, a conferma di quello che abbiamo detto sin dall’inizio.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra è la quintessenza del notebook secondo l'azienda coreana. Una workstation portatile che sia anche piacevole da guardare e che metta l'esperienza d'uso al primo posto, anche prima delle prestazioni a ogni costo. Book 3 Ultra ci riesce in buona parte, con solo qualche piccola sbavatura che può essere facilmente corretta nei prossimi modelli, e forse anche con un semplice aggiornamento software. Chi sia già dentro l'ecosistema Samsung, non si potrà trovare più a casa di così.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is a fine choice for creators. The 3K screen provides excellent colour accuracy, the graphics performance is enough to tackle heavy workloads and it’s portable enough to take on your travels. Is it good enough to thwart the MacBook Pro? Not quite. Apple’s laptop offers superior battery life, a marginally better performance and a more luxurious design. Nevertheless, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra runs it close, and is one of the best attempts I’ve seen from a Windows laptop in the creativity market. The high price is a problem, however, costing upwards of £3000/$3000 if you want the best specs for a high performance. The Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED represents better value and the Razer Blade 16 can be found with similar specs at a cheaper price. NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU:

Scheda grafica di fascia alta per laptop basata sull'architettura Ada Lovelace. Offre 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) ed è configurabile con un TGP di 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).

Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).

i9-13900H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 20 thread che possono essere elaborati. La CPU ha un clock fino a 5,4 GHz. Rispetto all'i9-13900HK, non è supportato l'overclocking facile, ma è invece supportato il set completo di funzioni di gestione vPro.
