Il realme C53 ha un display IPS da 6.74 pollici con risoluzione FHD+ (2400 x 1080); monta un processore Unisoc Tiger T612 (12 nm) – Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55), 6 GB di RAM e 128 GB di memoria interna, eMMC 5.1, espandibile tramite microSDXC con slot dedicato. Il comparto fotocamera principale è composto da due sensori, il principale da 50 MP (f/1.8), grandangolare, il secondario 0.3 MP, per la profondità di campo, ovviamente presente il Flash LED, con la possibilità di girare video in 1080p@30fps; la fotocamera frontale monta un sensore da 8 MP, f/2.0, grandangolare con la possibilità di girare video in HD a 720p@30fps. Esteticamente abbiamo un corpo e cover in plastica, con bordi piatti e in mano si tiene bene. Con la batteria da 5000 mAh andare oltre le due giornate non dovrebbe essere un problema, lo scopriremo nei prossimi giorni, ma in caso contrario ci verrà in contro la ricarica rapida da 33W, in grado di ricaricare il C53, dallo 0 al 50% in 31 minuti.

Se dovessi pensare ad un vero punto di forza di questo Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, la mia mente correrebbe immediatamente al design, all’impatto visivo. Realme è un’azienda giovane che realizza telefoni appaganti, innovativi, nonostante non realizzi smartphone premium. E’ capace di stupire, in un modo tecnologico piuttosto piatto. Questo gioca decisamente a favore della casa cinese. Oltre all’estetica c’è altro, però! Realme 11 Pro+ 5G ha molti numeri dalla sua parte e riesce a soddisfare tutti gli utenti, tranne quelli più esigenti, che dovrebbero però rivolgersi a telefoni di fascia superiore. In particolare, è davvero apprezzabile la durata della batteria e, soprattutto, la ricarica rapida a 100W con tecnologia SuperVooc, capace di ricaricare il telefono in maniera completa in meno di 30 minuti.

Realme 11 Pro+ è venduto al prezzo di 519€, ma grazie all’offerta di lancio è possibile accaparrarselo per 469€. Forse si tratta di una cifra che andrebbe ritoccata ancora leggermente verso il basso per poter parlare di un vero best buy. Nel complesso è però di sicuro un dispositivo che mi sento di consigliare, soprattutto quando calerà di prezzo: il comparto fotografico è davvero notevole e non vi farà rimpiangere smartphone anche un po’ più costosi, l’autonomia è eccellente senza per questo rinunciare a buone prestazioni.

Alla resa dei conti, Realme ha trovato un ottimo compromesso tra prezzo, performance e design centrando il suo focus sul sensore principale da 200 Mpixel. Questa ottica spicca ed è stata bene ottimizzata sull'11 Pro+ 5G, tenuto conto di tutti i fattori. Originale anche la scocca, per quanto manchi la certificazione di resistenza all'intrusione di liquidi e polvere. Tuttavia è sottile (8,7 mm nella zona fotografica) e leggera (183 grammi). Ciò che manca realmente è una ottimizzazione generale del software per migliorare alcuni aspetti già detti della fotocamera principale, perché il potenziale è enorme. Il Realme 11 Pro+ 5G va preso nel suo insieme, perché "spacchettandolo" si rischia di perdere la visione di uno smartphone che tenta di stupire a livello estetico e mira a mettere nelle mani un potente sensore principale, con prestazioni soddisfacenti.

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G ha un hardware impressionante: lo schermo è davvero ottimo, la fotocamera da 200MP offre possibilità enormi e la ricarica da 100W risulta davvero troppo comoda: una volta provata, non vorrete tornare indietro. Il processore e le fotocamere di supporto sono le uniche note non da “top di gamma”. Tuttavia, il software ha le sue pecche: il sistema operativo a troppo bloatware e un paio di funzioni rindondanti. L’app della fotocamera ha tante funzioni intelligenti, ma non “sistema” alla grande le fotografie come fanno alcuni rivali in questa fascia di prezzo. Il design tuttavia risulta davvero unico e potrebbe convincere anche qualche scettico ad acquistare questo prodotto, dal prezzo di 519,99 euro (in offerta di lancio a 469,99). Una fascia dove non mancano i rivali che, pur offrendo di meno dal punto di vista delle specifiche, offrono un’esperienza software più curata.

Realme 11 Pro+ ha il merito di provare a proporre qualcosa di minimamente alternativo in un mercato in cui le uscite dal seminato sono terribilmente rare: forte di un design premium, una fotocamera principale da vero top di gamma e una ricarica super rapida, il nuovo nato dell'azienda cinese è un dispositivo che ha qualche freccia al proprio arco per distinguersi dai competitor e rendersi preferibile ai potenziali acquirenti interessati a questi aspetti. Se però l'obiettivo della compagnia era quello di realizzare un proverbiale game changer, uno smartphone che potesse svettare in maniera assoluta rispetto alla concorrenza, allora non ci sentiamo di dire che il risultato sia stato raggiunto: Realme 11 Pro+ è un validissimo smartphone di fascia media con alcuni pregi evidenti ma anche con diversi limiti e un prezzo di listino che al momento attuale non lo mette in una posizione così allettante da farlo preferire senza riserve ad altri competitor.

Il prezzo di listino sarebbe di 519 euro ma adesso, cioè al lancio, lo troviamo a 469 euro, cifra che lo rende molto interessante. Finiture, design, materiali, touch & feel, sì, ritorniamo all'inizio quando dicevamo che grazie a questi aspetti riesce a distinguersi. Poi prestazioni, autonomia, display e comparto camere fanno il resto e diventa uno dei medi di gamma più interessanti. Arriverà il confronto, magari con Pixel 7, Galaxy A54.. Vedremo.

Rispetto al solito l'azienda mette sul piatto un unico taglio di memoria (che da solo per molti sarà motivo di acquisto) e un design unico. In più c'è anche una fotocamera da 200 megapixel e una ricarica fulminea. Il prezzo di lancio poi è ottimo. Non è perfetto, ma i difetti passano in secondo piano.

Il fratello minore Realme 11 Pro condivide praticamente tutte le considerazioni e valutazioni che abbiamo effettuato valutando il top Realme 11 Pro+. Le differenze si traducono solo nel comparto camera più basico, che perde il sensore da 200 Mp a favore di quello da 100 Mp, sempre stabilizzato otticamente, ma più in linea con i risultati degli altri ottimi medio di gamma presenti attualmente in commercio. Purtroppo manca un sensore grandangolare, presente in molti dei competitor, che rende questo pacchetto leggermente inferiore ad altri; peccato, perché il livello qualitativo degli scatti catturati è di buon livello, al pari dei vari Samsung, Xiaomi e Motorola con il quale va a gareggiare.

Che dire in conclusione di questi Realme 11 Pro se non che risultano essere ottimi smartphone con qualche sbavatura. Il controsenso più grande per me è l'aver fatto due device pressoché identici con delle differenze sostanziali solo sulla carta quando parliamo di fotocamere, un comparto preso non così tanto in considerazione quando si parla di medio gamma e di risparmio. Il Realme 11 Pro+ viene introdotto con un prezzo di 520€, scontato in offerta lancio a 470€, nella sola versione 12/512GB. Il Realme 11 Pro viene proposto ad un prezzo decisamente più competitivo grazie ai 400€ scontati in offerta lancio a 370€ per la versione 8/256GB mentre la 8/128GB costa 380€ di listino. I prezzi sono decisamente impegnativi e si vanno a scontrare direttamente con qualche ex top di gamma 2022 o top di gamma economico 2023 che potrebbe essere preferito grazie ad una scheda tecnica più ricca ed equilibrata.

The Realme 11 Pro+, on its own, is quite an interesting Android smartphone with an outstanding configuration for $500 a pop. The processor is also not on par with flagships, but it can still handle all everyday processes and even more demanding games. On the other hand, you get 12 GB of working memory and 512 GB of storage space. The 5,000 mAh battery can last for two days and can even be fully recharged within 30 minutes. The abundant bloatware can be uninstalled but is apparently necessary to achieve the modest price of $500. The same applies to the rather mediocre update policy and the lack of IP certification. In the end, the Realme 11 Pro+ with its outstanding display is a good deal if you can live with the shortcomings.

But arguably the biggest Achilles heel of this phone is the choice of chipset and maybe the camera performance as the main 200MP camera could have been more reliable across both photography and videography aspects. Likewise, since this is a more premium offering from the company, a better ultra-wide camera could also make it a more appealing choice since brands like Samsung, Nothing, and Motorola are indeed providing higher-resolution ultra-wide sensors. Plus, the pricing could have been more better!

So the Realme 11 Pro+ has given Realme a much-needed redemption in the camera space. It uses one of the most advanced camera hardware in the whole market, which has paid off quite well, barring a couple of minor rough edges here and there. Overall, it is a decent upgrade, but it is high time Realme does something about the software, at least on a smartphone that costs around Rs 30,000 or more.

It is a smartphone free from major shortcomings, although it lacks a few elements, such as water resistance or eSIM. Realme 11 Pro+ tempts with a decent display, really fast charging and decent performance. I must praise it for the stability of work and good (or even excellent, for the price) quality of photos and videos (not counting macro, which are as usual, i.e. poor). The appearance of the smartphone can be controversial - but you can always opt for a sadder, black version that is downright discreet. The interface - in fact, I could praise it, if not for the excess of pre-installed applications - but here I will leave the assessment to you, after all, not everyone has to be a minimalist ... In general, if you ask me about a cool, "fancy" and not overly expensive average driver, without hesitation I will mention Realme 11 Pro+. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a really dangerous competitor!

I think the Realme 11 Pro+ looks excellent, and I love the way the fake leather makes the phone feel when I’m holding it. It’s also good to see a different, fun new feature on a mid-range camera. The zoom mode isn’t perfect, but it’s far more interesting and useful than gimmicky features that apply to only a few people. Realme needs to pay attention to its software though, which almost ruins the 11 Pro+ for me, and to ensure that spending extra on the design doesn’t overly impact other key features. The terrible selfie camera is unforgivable these days, and the lack of an IP rating takes away confidence.

This phone definitely feels premium and its display is great while the inclusion of nice haptics further makes interacting with the phone a hoot. But arguably the biggest Achilles heel of this phone is the choice of chipset and maybe the camera performance as the main 200MP camera could have been more reliable across both photography and videography aspects. Likewise, since this is a more premium offering from the company, a better ultra-wide camera could also make it a more appealing choice since brands like Nothing and Motorola are indeed providing higher-resolution ultra-wide sensors.

Where the phone struggles is the camera department. We also appreciate the promise of two major Android updates and three years of security upgrades. We liked the design; in fact, we found the Realme 11 Pro+ quite easy to love. The phone offers a bright and color-accurate OLED, the speakers sound nice, the battery life is excellent, and the charging is incredibly fast. That's not all, of course. The Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, while not the fastest in this price bracket, is adequate for a mid-ranger and provides smooth performance all-around. The doubled base storage is much appreciated, too. The main camera is the real showstopper on the Realme 11 Pro+ - it's as flagship as on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and the photo and video quality are as premium as it can get these days.
