The Oppo A16s is one of the most affordable devices in the Chinese manufacturer’s lineup, and it offers some good specs for the money. It is built around a massive 5000mAh battery, but the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of (expandable) storage, and a 6.52-inch display with HD+ resolution are all adequate for the price point, too. The camera setup on the other hand is a comparatively simple affair. The Oppo comes with a triple-cam but no tele or ultra-wide lenses. Instead the 13 MP primary camera is flanked by a 2 MP monochrome unit and a dedicated macro camera. Video can be recorded at 1080p or 720p resolutions at 30 frames per second. With a DXOMARK Camera score of 80, the Oppo A16s lags quite a lot behind the best devices in the Essential segment, such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S or Samsung Galaxy A12, and while it looks like a good option for users who value a big battery, mobile photographers on a budget can find better options elsewhere.

Scheda grafica integrata per SoC ARM di fascia media.

Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.

Helio G35:

SoC octa core basato su ARM (8x piccoli core ARM Cortex-A53) con clock fino a 2,3 GHz. Il chip include anche un modem LTE Cat.4 e un PowerVR G38320 a 680 MHz. Il SoC è prodotto in 12nm (FinFET) e tranne per la maggiore velocità di clock è simile al vecchio Helio G25.
