With a great design, strong overall performance and outstanding battery life, the Yoga 7 14 Gen 9 is a good midrange two-in-one. Moreover, it's a great value at its price of $900 at Best Buy and an even better deal at its regularly discounted price of $800 direct from Lenovo. Its brighter display and slightly lighter weight make it a better choice than Dell's similar Inspiron 2-in-1 7445, and its much lower price and longer runtime make it a better pick for most people than Lenovo's flagship Yoga 9i 14 Gen 9.

Intel and AMD have been in a tight battle for many years, and there have always been convincing cases to make for one or the other, depending on the situation. As for the Yoga 7, very little can be said about the AMD version. The Yoga 7 is a decent laptop thanks to solid productivity performance and the sturdy Yoga chassis we love, but you’re better off investing in the Intel alternative, considering it boasts the same benefits but significantly better battery life. We’re not just talking about an hour or two difference here: The Yoga 7i lasted five hours longer than the Yoga 7. The result is a laptop that works fine in a vacuum, but we highly recommend spending the extra money on the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1, as you won’t regret how much extra juice it brings. If you’d rather not dish out the extra cash, the Yoga 7 is worthwhile in enough avenues.

AMD Radeon 780M:

Scheda grafica integrata nelle APU della serie mobile Ryzen 7040 basata sull'architettura RDNA3 con 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) ed una velocità clock fino a 3 GHz.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

R7 8840HS: Un processore di fascia alta della famiglia Hawk Point, presentato nel quarto trimestre del 2023. L'8840HS non è in realtà un nuovo chip; è invece simile al Ryzen 7 7840U, ma con un TDP minimo superiore di 5W e un motore Ryzen AI con un clock più elevato. L'8840HS ha 8 core abilitati SMT (16 thread) che funzionano da 3,3 GHz a 5,1 GHz. Questi core dell'architettura Zen 4 sono abbinati all'adattatore grafico integrato Radeon 780M.
