Lenovo's thinnest gaming laptop is just 1/100th of a millimeter thicker than the Razer Blade 15 and it uses only the latest Zen 3+ and RDNA 2 parts from AMD. It holds up surprisingly well against the competition so long as you don't mind the high core temperatures.

The Slim 7 is 16.9mm thin and it’s clad in a rigid and understated aluminum casing that doesn’t scream “gamer”. Our review unit has a 165Hz IPS display, AMD Ryzen 6900HX CPU and AMD Radeon RX 6800S dedicated graphics. A fingerprint scanner and 1080p webcam are standard.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 Gen 7 is a capable rig that easily outruns non-gaming notebooks of similar size. If you're looking for a laptop that can play present-day titles but is relatively easy to carry around, the Slim 7 is a fine choice, though the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 remains our lightweight favorite—albeit more gamer-garish and more expensive.

AMD Radeon RX 6800S:
Scheda grafica mobile di fascia alta basata su un chip Navi 23 (nuova architettura RDNA2) e prodotta nel moderno processo a 7nm. Offre 2.048 core (32 CU) e utilizza 12 GB di memoria grafica GDDR6. Il clock di gioco è specificato a 2 GHz a 100 Watt TDP. La 6800S è la variante a risparmio energetico della Radeon RX 6800M.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
