Because it's quite heavy, it's best for gamers who work from home and plan to leave their laptop stationed at their desk (after all, it's not very power efficient). If you want to commute with it, you may find it to be too cumbersome. And, of course, considering that this is a budget gaming laptop, it's not for bougie gamers who must play their favorite triple-A titles on the best settings possible. If you're perfectly fine with sacrificing the nitty-gritty graphical details for smoother gameplay, the LOQ 15 is for you. If you’re OK with a gaming laptop that delivers the bare minimum for your gaming needs, allowing you to save more money for your pockets, the LOQ 15 is one of the best budget gaming laptops of 2024.

But if you want to play games like Halo Infinite or others, you will either need a laptop with better specs or build a gaming PC desktop yourself, which may be the overall better choice than purchasing a gaming laptop. The Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9I laptop can be an excellent way to experience older PC gaming for a relatively reasonable price. But since it is intended to be an entry-level machine, its Intel Arc GPU can't handle more graphics-intensive games. Only consider picking up the Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9I if you know what games the laptop can handle.

Lenovo’s AI-powered resource management can either squeeze maximum performance out of the hardware or help you significantly extend the LOQ’s battery life. However, LOQ is an entry-level gaming laptop that won’t give you the performance you need to succeed in competitive gaming. If GPU performance is your top priority, consider the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 (2023).

Introduced last year, the LOQ series is a budget gaming laptop lineup offering from Lenovo which kind of replaced their existing IdeaPad Gaming 3 lineup. Intel A530M: Intel Arc A530M è una scheda grafica dedicata mobile di fascia medio-bassa basata sulla microarchitettura Xe HPG. Offre 12 core (192 ALU), 12 unità di ray tracing e una velocità tipica dei core di gioco di 1300 MHz. Il TGP è specificato tra 65 e 95 Watt.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
