EN→ITAffordable devices will always leave something to be desired. In this case, the laptop is made out of a rather inexpensive plastic, which makes the body soft, and prone to twists. Additionally, the situation around the storage is a real bummer. Well, there is a chance it’s not, but for that, you have to scratch the 64GB base option from the equation. In addition to that, the keyboard is the next strong point. It offers long key travel and clicky feedback. Pretty much the Holy Grail of keyboard comfort. And although there is no USB Type-C port to be found, you get a MicroSD card slot, an HDMI connector, and two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports. Alas, it is possible to make a super affordable laptop without sacrificing USB speed. Thanks, Lenovo for showing that. On the other hand, the biggest downside of this notebook is its display. However, when the price starts at only $250, you can’t expect anything different. That doesn’t make the 768p TN display look any better, but if this is the sacrifice you have to make to own a laptop, so be it.

EN→ITIf you search for the cheapest device in Lenovo’s line-up, you’ll find the IdeaPad 1 14 laptop. It uses the some of the most affordable components currently available in the market – an intel Celeron chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB SSD storage and a middling HD TB display – but still manages to wow in design and reliable performance on basic tasks. Its keyboard is rather good, the Ice Blue color contrasted with black keys on the keyboard looks great, and because there’s no fan, it runs completely during operation. The battery life is equally great, adding more reason why you should consider it, especially if shopping on a tight budget. That said, if all you need is a super-cheap way to get your online fix then the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 81VU0079US is an ideal budget laptop. It’s reliable, comfy to use and will handle all your day-to-day browsing and video watching needs with ease – it can even be used as a work laptop and is definitely a perfect first laptop for school.

EN→ITThe IdeaPad 1 14 is a simple machine, but it’s well-designed and has nearly everything you’d expect from a no-nonsense laptop that allows you to check emails and get schoolwork or other light tasks done with relative ease. A "true" 128GB SSD (as opposed to an eMMC drive) and a roomy 14-inch full HD display are arguably the star attractions, with the comfortable keyboard and reasonably modern styling playing important backup roles. The only things potentially missing from this fine budget laptop are USB-C ports and a more capable Ryzen or Core processor. For the latter, you’ll need to step up to the MSI Modern 14, which is currently our top pick in the budget-laptop category. But if you need to shed another $100 or $150 from your spend versus the Modern 14, this is one of the best picks in its price zone.

Slower performance and less expansive feature sets are par for the course when the price dips below $400. But somehow, even with our realistic expectations, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 is still underwhelming. It falls behind the competition in every performance category but battery life, which itself is largely thanks to a relatively dim, low-resolution display. In this price range, unless you can find a truly valuable deal on something like the Editors' Choice Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14 (which remains our favorite budget Windows laptop), you might be better served by leaving Microsoft behind and checking out a Chromebook.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
Intel UHD Graphics 605:
Adattatore grafico integrato di fascia bassa con supporto DirectX 12, che si trova in alcuni SoC ULV della serie Gemini Lake. Rispetto all'HD Graphics 505, il 605 migliori uscite display.
Intel UHD Graphics 600:
Adattatore grafico integrato di fascia bassa con supporto DirectX 12, che si trova in alcuni SoCs ULV della serie Gemini Lake. Rispetto all'HD Graphics 500, il 600 offre prestazioni di visualizzazione migliorate. Rispetto alla più veloce UHD Graphics 605, la 600 offre meno shader a velocità di clock inferiori.
Intel UHD Graphics (Jasper Lake 32 EU):
Scheda grafica integrata nei modelli Intel Jasper Lake Pentium Silver basati sull'architettura Gen. 11. Offre tutti i 32 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore che va da 350 MHz base a 900 MHz boost. I chip Jasper Lake sono prodotti nel processo a 10nm di Intel (simile a Ice Lake).
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
AMD Vega 3:
Scheda grafica integrata delle APU Ryzen basata sull'architettura Vega con 3 CU (= 192 shader) e un clock fino a 1100 MHz.
AMD Vega 7:

Intel Gemini Lake:
Pentium N5030: SoC quad-core a bassa potenza della serie Gemini Lake per notebook economici. Funziona con orologi tra 1,1-3,1 GHz e integra un adattatore grafico compatibile con DirectX 12. Il 5030 è il refresh del vecchio Pentium 5000 e offre un Boost clock da 400 MHz più alto.
Celeron N4020: SoC dual-core a bassa potenza della serie Gemini Lake per notebook economici. Funziona con orologi tra 1,1-2,8 GHz e integra un adattatore grafico compatibile con DirectX 12.
AMD Raven Ridge (Ryzen 2000 APU):
Athlon 3050e:
APU mobile che integra due core Zen (con SMT, quindi 4 fili) con clock fino a 2,8 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 6 Watt e quindi il chip può essere raffreddato passivamente. La scheda grafica Radeon integrata offre 3 CU fino a 1000 MHz (Radeon RX Vega 3). Il controller di memoria a doppio canale supporta DDR4-2400. Il chip è prodotto in 14nm ed è ufficialmente conteggiato per la serie 3000 di processori mobili.
3020e:
APU mobile che integra due core Zen (senza SMT, quindi 2 fili) con clock da 1,2 a 2,6 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 6 Watt e quindi il chip può essere raffreddato passivamente. La scheda grafica Radeon integrata offre 3 CU fino a 1000 MHz (Radeon RX Vega 3). Il controller di memoria a doppio canale supporta DDR4-2400. I core della CPU sono più piccoli e più lenti di quelli delle CPU Core (ad esempio Ice Lake) ma prodotti con lo stesso processo a 10nm.

APU mobile a sei core che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 2,1 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 1800 MHz. Simile al vecchio Ryzen 5 4500U.
