Huawei P10 Plus è la versione più grande di Huawei P10, le differenze sono poche ma importanti, lo schermo è più grande con una risoluzione superiore, la RAM è di 6 GB e la memoria interna di 128 GB, che lo rendono un dispositivo decisamente più completo e prestante, in particolare per chi ha bisogno di uno smartphone per lavorare o godersi video e filmati, il tutto sfruttando un hardware con ottime prestazioni a un prezzo decisamente ragionevole.

Huawei P10 Plus probabilmente ha solo un difetto, quello di non essere un rinnovamento considerevole rispetto al P9 Plus. L'aggiornamento della fotocamera non basta per renderlo superiore e anche la memoria cosi ampia non è forse la motivazione necessarie e sufficiente per cambiare. Il 2017 è poi l'anno del dei design bordless anche se questi vanno spesso ad inficiare l'utilizzo quotidiano (S8, Mi Mix tra gli esempi più noti), e P10 non stupisce e si va a mischiare con una moltitudine di altri smartphone simili. L'attuale posizionamento di prezzo non è poi competitivo come il piccolo P10 normale ma, a conti fatti, le frecce all'arco di P10 Plus sono molte e nella colorazione nera (o le nuove Pantone) fa comunque la sua bella figura.

Come suggerisce il titolo, Huawei P10 Plus fa tanti passi in avanti, ma allo stesso tempo torna indietro. Rispetto al 2016, ci sono delle evoluzioni importanti, ma nulla capace di convincere un utente di P9 Plus a fare il salto: non ne vale la pena. Scegliendo tra P10 e P10 Plus, invece, potrebbe sembrare scontata la scelta di quest’ultimo, ma non è proprio così: sulla carta ci sono delle specifiche migliori e più interessanti, che però non sempre si riversano in un miglioramento concreto dell’esperienza utente di tutti i giorni. Per questo, per certi versi, rimango più affezionato al fratello minore, che vince in ergonomia.

Huawei P10 Plus viene commercializzato sul nostro mercato ad un prezzo di partenza pari a 829€, anche se riusciamo a trovarlo sui principali store online ad un prezzo che si aggira intorno ai 799€. Il prezzo è chiaramente in linea con quello dei principali competitor, ma sinceramente ci saremmo aspettati di più in termini di innovazione per quanto riguarda la fascia alta di Huawei. Non critichiamo affatto le scelte estetiche che rendono il dispositivo decisamente bello sia alla vista sia in termini di ergonomia ma – forse – non ha quella caratteristica aggiuntiva che lo differenzia dai rivali. Diciamo che Huawei ha preferito perfezionare la linea precedente piuttosto che rivoluzionarla, spostando ad esempio il sensore di impronte digitali sulla parte frontale.

Giudizio del team : cosa dire di questo Huawei P10 Plus. Cambia sinceramente molto poco dalla versione P10, non quella Lite ovviamente. Certamente è lo schermo che qui è maggiore ed infatti la sigla Plus stabilisce proprio una differenza, una maggiorazione dello schermo in termini di pollici anche se di poco in questo caso. Chipset e processore identici e quindi potentissimi ma soprattutto è il reparto memorie nella versione completa che fa paura con i suoi 6 giga di Ram e ben 128 giga di Rom. Sono bastate queste caratteristiche hardware a far lievitare il prezzo fino ad oltre 800 euro ?

Ma il P10 Plus va anche a scontrarsi “in famiglia” anche con Honor 8 Pro che con 280 euro di listino in meno offre un comparto hardware che tutto sommato non è poi molto differente (Kirin 960, 6GB di RAM, display QHD e 64GB di memoria espandibile).

820 euro mi sembrano davvero troppi per questo p10 plus..anche se la rete ci aiuta a trovarlo già a 100 euro in meno, ma qui l'asticella è proprio alta e, così come su P10, non ho trovato grande innovazione. The P10 Plus is a top-specced contender with a top-specced price. The main rivals in the Android world are all more expensive, and in their own way, flawed too. Samsung's S8 is a strong phone, and boasts the waterproofing and wireless charging missing here, but the placement of its fingerprint sensor right next to the main camera - apparently a last minute design decision because the under-glass fingerprint sensor wasn't sufficiently reliable - is already causing much annoyance. Google's ludicrously priced Google Pixel has a fine camera but a much inferior display and bafflingly, no expandable storage. By comparison the Huawei is a solid design, a Volvo maybe, but at an Audi price.

Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata.
