I’ve been testing the Moonlight Silver version, and honestly, the "runway" camera module is more than just a design choice—it actually makes holding the phone horizontally for gaming way more comfortable.

The Honor 500 is baffling me a bit. Usually, when a phone is this thin and light, you expect the battery life to take a massive hit. But somehow, Honor managed to stuff a massive 8000mAh Qinghai Lake battery inside a body that feels as light as air. It’s genuinely one of the most impressive engineering feats I’ve seen in a mid-range device this year. Design-wise, they’ve nailed the "Super Standard" concept. We’re looking at a unified 6.55-inch display across the whole series, which is arguably the sweet spot for size.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unità grafica integrata nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite per smartphone con tre fette da 1,1 GHz ciascuna. Cache condivisa integrata da 12 MB per le tre fette. Secondo Qualcomm, è più veloce del 40% rispetto alla generazione precedente (Adreno 750).

Il Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) è un SoC (system-on-a-chip) di fascia alta che viene utilizzato negli smartphone e nei tablet di fascia alta. È ufficialmente l'alternativa più economica allo Snapdragon 8 Elite e si dice che sia fino al 49% più veloce rispetto al suo predecessore, lo Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. La parte della CPU è composta da quattro cluster: il primo è costituito da un core principale (Cortex X4) con un massimo di 3,2 GHz, il secondo da tre core di prestazioni con un massimo di 3,0 GHz (Cortex A720). Il cluster di efficienza è composto da quattro unità di risparmio energetico (Cortex A720), due delle quali funzionano fino a 2,8 GHz, mentre altre due hanno un clock fino a 2,0 GHz.
