If you’re expecting new technology to use its first models to penetrate the market and make way for later revisions, containing a bunch of issues and child diseases typical of such devices – you’ll find none of that here. Intel has done their part of the job flawlessly, ASUS has done their best to add their own touch to the concoction, and the result speaks for itself – Zenbook is a worthy introduction to the ultrabook age by all means. The only reason to keep you away from this PC is a high price, one that requires a more sizeable budget than usual.

This sleek and modern-looking ultrabook is an impressive, MacBook Air-style thin wonder. It will make an excellent travel companion for anyone demanding power and extreme portability.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: 3 imminenti (Q1 2011) schede grafiche integrate nel processore Intel Sandy Bridge (Core ix-2xxx). La 3000 / 200 è la versione più veloce internamente chiamata GT2 con 12 Execution Units (EUs).

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
