1015PX = R051PX? Asus diffonde un altro netbook sul mercato con l'affidabile case seashell. Il 1015PX sembra proprio avere la stessa costruzione di R051PX.

However, it deserves to be called value for money because at Rs. 12,999, the netbook is priced a lot lower than the rest of these netbooks. There’s a good Rs. 7,000 - 10,000 difference if you compare to any of the netbooks done before. One thing for sure is that it’s not perfect, but is good value for money. If you’re looking for an expert in performance, the Dell M101z will be a better choice, but in terms of a good budget netbook, the 1015PX is up there.

For a netbook, it’s solid built, nice looking and pretty fast, plus it comes with all the features producers usually bundle on these machines and good battery life. You do have to remember however it’s only a netbook and as long as you know that and adjust your expectations, this little Asus and you will be best mates.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150: Scheda grafica integrata (memoria condivisa) nell'Intel Atom N4xx CPUs. Minimamente più veloce rispetto ad una vecchia GMA 950 e pertanto non adatta ai giochi 3D o ai video HD (solo accelerazione MPEG2).
Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.

Intel Atom:
La Intel Atom è una serie a 64-Bit di microprocessori (non tutti i modelli supportano 64bit) per portatili economici e piccoli (chiamati comunemente netbooks), MIDs, o UMPCs (Ultra Mibile Persona Computer). La particolarità della nuova architettura è l'esecuzione "in order" (al posto della consueta e più veloce esecuzione "out of order"). Di conseguenza il transistor count della serie Atom è abbastanza inferiore, e quindi più economico da produrre. Inoltre, il consumo di energia è molto contenuto. Le prestazioni per Megahertz sono ovviamente peggiori rispetto ai vecchi Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz alla pari di 1.6 GHz Atom).
N570: Processore Atom dual core con un clock rate leggermente superiore rispetto all'Atom N550 e di conseguenza ancora più lento rispetto ai processori CULV.
