L'Aorus 15G di Gigabyte è stato aggiornato con la nuova unità grafica RTX 3070. Sfortunatamente, il produttore sembra aver fatto alcuni tagli come risultato di questo aggiornamento, dato che diverse caratteristiche del modello dell'anno scorso non sono più incluse. Possono le nuove prestazioni grafiche compensare queste mancanze o il predecessore potrebbe effettivamente essere la scelta migliore?

However, it does suffer from an patchy 1/0 option, an underwhelming keyboard and a higher price than similarly specified rivals. Indeed, it’s not tricky to find RTX 3070 laptops for less money, and sometimes with better AMD CPUs. That said, that price gets you a decent screen, solid build quality and low-noise operation. It could be cheaper, but it’s a well-built laptop if you can afford it.

Doing that for under $2,000 is an achievement worthy of praise. But if you care less about mobility and having a thin form factor that Gigabyte’s Aorus 15G provides, MSI’s GP66 Leopard takes the RTX 3070 even further. Its thicker, heavier chassis affords the chip even more headroom to get better performance in games — for the same $1,799 price, no less.

EN→ITI would have preferred a configuration with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage over this, but I guess GIGABYTE thinks that people appreciate more RAM over storage. With that said, you can always drop in another M.2 SSD into the GIGABYTE AORUS 15G XC to upgrade the storage, versus having to dispose of two sticks of memory because you had to upgrade the memory..

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU: Scheda grafica per computer portatili di fascia alta basata sul chip Ampere GA104. Disponibile in diverse versioni con un TDP da 80 a 125 Watt.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
