EN→ITThe Acer Swift X is a laptop that can easily fit into most users’ work flows. After all, it’s got the power to handle productivity and creative use cases, while still being as thin and light as a regular ultrabook. It’s really impressive. Just keep in mind the downsides of this machine. It does still have a 720p webcam, and the performance does suffer when not connected to power. There’s a lot of bloatware, but that’s a one-time issue to fix. It just provides so much value at $1,099. Weighing in at barely over three pounds, it comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor, RTX 3050 Ti graphics, a 512GB SSD, and 16GB RAM. Like I said, that’s easy to justify for most users.

The powerful GPU/CPU combination gives it the capability to play games and run demanding creative jobs, while the display is both colourful and accurate enough for professional image and video work. Add to that the reasonably decent battery life, impressively compact and lightweight design and perfectly reasonable price and you have a solid recommendation.

EN→ITWho doesn't like a good mashup? The Swift X is one-part gaming laptop, one-part ultraportable. Placing an AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti in the Swift X was a stroke of genius. And even better, these components don't take much of a hit to battery life as the Swift endured for more than 9 hours on a charge. Acer then went a step further by pricing the ultra-portable at around $1,000, making it less expensive than its direct competitors.

The Acer Swift X retails for $999 but what makes it special is the fact that it comes with a Ryzen 7 5800U and a dedicated GPU (RTX 3050 ti), making it a very reasonable option for students going back to school who want something thin and light but with a dedicated GPU. EN→ITThe Swift X helps Acer's middle-range laptops enter the fast lane thanks to discrete graphics being on board. The entry-level model bags Nvidia RTX 3050 for under a four-figure asking price. It's a shame there's not more ports (or more diverse ones) - it's just the one USB-C here - and some aspects of the build, such as the plastic screen bezel, could be a little better. But, elsewhere, the colourful lid options and aluminium frame ensure an overall quality. So if you're looking for a portable yet discreet-looking laptop with big power but without a big price tag, the Acer Swift X ought to have plenty to offer.

Scheda grafica per laptop da gioco di fascia media basata sul chip Ampere GA107.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
