EN→ITI’m convinced the Chromebook Plus Spin 714 is worth the money, but it’s not a device you buy on a whim. If you have uses for the versatile display or added power over less expensive devices, then by all means, it’s a device you’ll get plenty of use from. However, if you never keep more than a few tabs open or only use your Chromebook for Google Docs, there are less expensive alternatives that’ll serve you just as well. The Spin 714 is worth the premium Acer charges, but I’d have a game plan in mind before buying one.

Still, at $699, it’s still less expensive than many competing Windows laptops. That’s a great package at a compelling price. But many people will be looking for less-expensive Chromebooks. And, for people who are looking for a more premium Chromebook experience, some aspects of this laptop will give them pause — like the speakers. Still, this is a great Chromebook that many people would be happy with. As I wrap up typing this review on the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714’s excellent keyboard, that sale price of $599 feels like good value for a mostly great Chromebook experience.

Ultra 5 125U: Un chip Meteor Lake di fascia media inferiore che ha debuttato nel dicembre 2023. Questo processore Core Ultra di 1a generazione è arrivato a sostituire i processori Core di 13a generazione; ha 12 core (2 + 8 + 2) e 14 thread a disposizione. I suoi core Performance, che sono 2, funzionano fino a 4,3 GHz, mentre i core Efficient, che sono 10 (8 core principali più 2 extra che si trovano nella Low Power Island) funzionano fino a 3,6 GHz.
