We just wish it had a better screen, that is wasn't as glossy, and that it came with more understated lighting.

For $84 less I can get WiMAX 4G broadband, WiDi 2.0, a 7-hour battery life, and a good-looking aluminum chassis on top of a same-performing Core i5 processor in the Asus U56E-BBL5. Why would you pay more for less?

EN→IT Archive.org versionAfter spending some time with the Satellite P755-3DV20 I was left with mixed feelings about this notebook. On one hand, Toshiba delivers a complete 3D entertainment experience for a modest price ($890 "street price" as of this writing). On the other hand, Toshiba was able to make this 3D notebook affordable by using the same chassis used in cheaper budget laptops and that's not ideal for a more expensive multimedia PC. The 3D performance is also something of a mixed bag. The Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics provide barely enough performance for older 3D games which means this notebook is really only intended for watching 3D movies on the road or when connected to your 3D HDTV.

Well-designed utilitarian features such as the backlit keyboard and lighted track pad make working in low light easier. The striated lines design is certainly unique, and keeps the notebook looking new for longer as it hides those unsightly fingerprints, smudges and scratches really well.

Toshiba: Toshiba Corporation è un conglomerato o gruppo tecnologico giapponese. L'azienda è stata fondata nel 1939 e nel 1978 Toshiba è diventata il nome ufficiale dell'azienda. I prodotti e i servizi dell'azienda includono energia, sistemi di infrastrutture industriali e sociali, ascensori e scale mobili, componenti elettronici, semiconduttori, dischi rigidi, stampanti, batterie, illuminazione, logistica e tecnologia dell'informazione. Toshiba è stato uno dei maggiori produttori di personal computer, elettronica di consumo, elettrodomestici e apparecchiature mediche.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M: Scheda grafica in dirittura d'arrivo, basata sullo stesso chip della GeForce GT 435M ma con una velocità clock leggermente superiore.
AMD Radeon HD 6620G: Scheda grafica integrata nel processore (nella APUs Llano della serie A) senza memoria grafica dedicata.
Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
Intel HD Graphics (Sandy Bridge): Scheda grafica integrata nei processori Sandy Bridge Pentium e Celeron. Simile alla desktop HD Graphics 2000 e non connessa con il vecchio processore grafico Arrandale che ha lo stesso nome.
