The bloatware and 18W charging speed are a bit letdown, but I don’t find that as a deal breaker at all. All in all, Redmi 12 5G is worth taking a look at if you are looking for a 5G smartphone under 12K.

It has a minimalist design, large screen that's good for streaming content, a 5000mAh battery that easily lasts a day and a half, and a 3.5mm jack and MicroSD slot to extend storage. The hardware is decent enough, and you even get IP53 ingress protection. There are inherent limitations here — like the lack of a wide-angle lens and 18W charging — but on the whole, the positives outweigh the cons by a sizeable margin. If you're in need of an entry-level 5G phone that offers good value for money, look no further.

So overall, after going through rigorous testing and usage, the Redmi 12 5G feels worth the price. In fact, for a smartphone that starts at under ₹11,000, this is a superb deal!
