Inutile girarci intorno, lo Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, è senza dubbio uno smartphone maturo ed affidabile. Costruito con precisione grazie anche all’utilizzo di materiali nobili come l’alluminio e la ceramica e con la presenza di un comparto hardware da vero top di gamma. Bellissimo e utile il display davvero borderless che seppure non risulti ormai una novità mantiene ancora quell’effetto estetico bello da vedere e pratica da usare.

Il passaggio dal Mi Mix della prima generazione al Mi Mix 2 testato qui sembra essere solo una rifinitura. Ma alla fine dei conti, con il Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi ha creato uno smartphone di successo e attraente. Il supporto LTE o l'acustica non sono più un problema nella seconda generazione. E quando si considera che il Mi Mix 2 costa solo 499 euro ed è disponibile ufficialmente anche in Spagna, non c'è quasi nessuna ragione per non considerare questo prodotto di design di Xiaomi.

Costa tra i 500 e i 550 euro nella versione da 64 gb. Io l'ho comprato da Grossoshop ma più o meno il prezzo in rete è quello. Troppo. Troppo per un telefono per utenti consapevoli (almeno fino a che non esce la global o ancora meglio la versione internazionale), troppo per un telefono che nell'uso non mi ha convinto fino in fondo ma adeguati per un telefono dalle finiture davvero ottime. Belli i materiali, esteticamente così minimale e simmetrico da farmi impazzire ma autonomia e cam sottotono. Lato borderless un passo indietro rispetto a Mi Mix 1, passo che recupera lato impugnabilità e usabilità. Però da dire che il Mi Mix 1 era di rottura ed era il primo. Ora ci sono in commercio borderless che vi consiglierei di più.

In conclusione, Mi Mix 2 è uno smartphone affidabile e piacevole al punto da meritarsi tutte le nostre attenzioni. Dual SIM, con questo hardware, con questa estetica, con questa resa pratica e probabilmente il firmware a base Android più fluido a disposizione: se rientra nella vostra idea di mobilità, non perdetelo. Al di là del confronto con altri prodotti più o meno indirizzati a questo o a quello, distribuiti in Europa o da importare come privati, resta un oggetto da rispettare. Un bene per la categoria. Attenzione solo a non far diventare routine quella che, a tutti gli effetti, è una forzatura. In fin dei conti la spesa non è trascurabile - tanto meno il vostro tempo.

The Mi 6 was already doing the bare minimum for budget flagships, and the same missing features on a pricier Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 places a huge emphasis on its bezel-less display, which in itself, isn't as feature-filled as its competition. However, it is still the most affordable bezel-less experience without the insane price tags as of late, paired with great performance returns.
