In addition to a vibrant 16.4-inch 1080p display, it packs a solid performance punch, has a compelling suite of multimedia software, and a Blu-ray DVD burner. Still, it can take a toll on your wallet. The Dell XPS 15 offers the same processor and GPU--but 8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive and arguably better sound--for $1,099. Overall, though, the Sony VAIO F will be a hit for those who create or consume massive quantities of multimedia.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M: Scheda grafica in dirittura d'arrivo, basata sullo stesso chip della GeForce GT 435M ma con una velocità clock leggermente superiore.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
