OPPO Reno2 Z è uno smartphone che dà sensazioni contrastanti. Da un certo punto di vista è un dispositivo eccezionale: buona autonomia, ottimo schermo, comparto fotografico superiore alla media, reparto connettività completo (con tanto di triplo slot) e qualità costruttiva fuori scala per uno smartphone che costa circa 350 euro. OPPO Reno2 Z riprende le buone qualità che abbiamo già visto con OPPO Reno2 e le porta in una fascia inferiore per quanto riguarda i succitati aspetti. I problemi arrivano quando entriamo nel campo delle prestazioni e del software. Infatti, il SoC MediaTek e la GPU PowerVR riescono a funzionare bene durante l'utilizzo quotidiano (sebbene con qualche impuntamento qua e là), ma hanno più di qualche pecca lato gaming e in generale restituiscono delle prestazioni che non possono competere con gli smartphone più prestanti di questa fascia di prezzo.

Di listino costa 349 euro ma sul web si trova anche a 300, purtroppo non c'è ancora su Amazon ma arriverà. Un ottimo medio gamma, con una super batteria, un bel display e una buonissima affidabilità. È il primo Oppo che entra tra i miei preferiti per il giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Si scontra con Xiaomi Mi 9T, fa meglio in foto e affidabilità SW, qui niente piccoli bug. Perde in piacevolezza SW, anche solo grafica ma, nel complesso, promosso sia lui che il processore Mediatek.

OPPO Reno 2Z è la giusta versione economica di Reno 2. Le specifiche tecniche sono assolutamente adeguate e abbiamo ancora lo stesso ottimo design e lo stesso ottimo display. Vale però la pena considerare che Reno 2 è comunque migliore per fotocamera, performance, autonomia e memoria e che i 150€ sono del tutto giustificati.

At Rs 29,990, the Oppo Reno2 Z seems to be an expensive smartphone that does not justify its midrange premium tag. Though the phone has a sturdy build, good ergonomics, plush design, feature-rich cameras and good on-battery time, its mediocre performance and cluttered user interface hamper the overall user experience. In the sub-Rs 30,000 price band, the Oppo Reno2 Z does not match other premium midrange phones like the OnePlus 7, Asus 6z and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro, which deliver better user experience and have good combination of specifications and features, too.

Summarizing the photo performance of Reno 2Z, you can see that its level is not bad. The advantage of glare photography is that the white balance is excellent and the color expression is more accurate. The advantage of night scene shooting is that the screen brightness is good, and the highlight control is at the upstream level. However, its photographs are not perfect. The main problem may be that the screen under HDR function is not good, and there will be a slight color cast during night shooting, especially in the case of extremely low light.
