Con OnePlus 10T, l'azienda di Pete Lau mette sul mercato un dispositivo che, come spesso è successo negli ultimi tempi con i suoi smartphone, è piuttosto difficile da valutare. Preso singolarmente non si può negare come sia un prodotto molto valido, con una scheda tecnica che può vantare persino delle eccellenze assolute (su tutte SoC e velocità di ricarica) e un'esperienza d'uso generale sicuramente appagante. Il suo posizionamento in una fascia di prezzo medio/alta lo mette però a confronto con competitor spesso più completi, oltre che con quello stesso OnePlus 10 Pro che ormai si trova a uno street price più basso nonostante preziosismi che OnePlus 10T non ha. Insomma, volendo tornare al discorso fatto in apertura di recensione, dubitiamo che questo possa essere il modello destinato a risollevare le sorti della compagnia.

Secondo me meglio i 719 euro per la versione 8/128GB che gli 819 necessari per la 16/256GB. I GB tanto si riempiono con foto e video e chi compra questo smartphone non li ha come primo obiettivo, chi compra OnePlus 10T lo fa perché va davvero molto bene. Preferisco questo ad un top che si dichiara tale, magari marchiato Hasselblad come il 10 ma che poi non lo è comunque ed approvo la scelta di OnePlus di riposizionarsi rinunciando sì a qualcosa ma abbassando di nuovo il prezzo!

OnePlus 10T è uno smartphone atipico, ma che ha le sue caratteristiche di unicità. È uno smartphone per gamer che però vogliono avere anche un dispositivo elegante e non esagerato nelle linee. Non è un OnePlus come eravamo abituati a conoscerne nel passato, ma la scheda tecnica rimane comunque molto interessante. Il prezzo non è contenuto, ma con la giusta offerta potrebbe essere riposizionato correttamente. Il problema è il target molto ristretto a cui punta questo dispositivo.

Recensione OnePlus 10T: quasi come il Pro, ma costa 200 euro in meno!

OnePlus 10T si posiziona in una fascia di prezzo decisamente interessante, proponendosi all'utente con molte delle caratteristiche dei top di gamma più blasonati ma a un prezzo più abbordabile. Come appena detto, però, ha molte delle caratteristiche dei flagship, non tutte. Chi acquista il nuovo smartphone OnePlus deve quindi rinunciare al più efficiente display LTPO con angoli arrotondati e quindi anche a un po' di ergonomia e alla versatilità di una fotocamera posteriore con zoom ottico. Di contro, OnePlus 10T può offrire prestazioni da primo della classe grazie al processore Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 e una ricarica fra le più rapide dell'intera categoria, molto più veloce anche rispetto a quella di dispositivi sensibilmente più costosi. La fotocamera principale è inoltre impreziosita dal sensore Sony IMX766, che è garanzia di foto di ottima qualità in tutte le circostanze, anche quando si è quasi in penombra.

OnePlus 10T è un buon prodotto, nell'uso di tutti i giorni è sempre piacevole perché supportato da hardware di ottimo livello, con poche rinunce. I fondamentali sono tutti al posto giusto, casomai manca quel quid in più che contraddistingue i prodotti di fascia superiore, ad esempio la ricarica wireless, la certificazione di resistenza ad acqua e polvere e soprattutto un comparto foto più carrozzato. Su questa fascia di prezzo non mancano le alternative, lo stesso OnePlus 10 Pro con qualche offerta si porta a casa più o meno allo stesso prezzo, Realme GT2 Pro, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, Xiaomi 12, ASUS Zenfone 9, Google Pixel 6 e l'ultimo arrivato Nothing Phone (1), senza dimenticare poi gli ex top di gamma scesi di prezzo. Complessivamente quindi la valutazione è positiva, per i giocatori è una vera bomba, ma i connotati dei flagship killer sono ormai un lontano ricordo, bisogna fare lo sforzo di vedere OnePlus come un'azienda nuova che fa smartphone diversi da un tempo, mettiamoci l'anima in pace.

In our DXOMARK Audio tests, the OnePlus 10T 5G proved to be a good device for audio recording, mainly thanks to the excellent intelligibility of vocal content, even when recording in strong winds. Overall, recording quality could have been more consistent, though, with a noticeably better main camera performance than for the front camera or memo apps. In playback, the phone delivered a decent dynamics performance, and sound was pretty much free of artifacts. However, a lack of low- and high-end extension resulted in a dull sonority. Overall, better options for audio playback are available in the 10T 5G’s price bracket.

The OnePlus 10T gets a lot of things right. It’s a fast-charging, long-lasting, super-responsive phone with a vibrant, smooth display. It looks great and it doesn’t cost the earth, either. The OnePlus 10T is definitely a flagship smartphone but a very toned-down version of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G if you compare it. It has a lower screen resolution, refresh rate, camera resolution, and battery capacity. It would have been nice if OnePlus let the 10T 5G keep the dust and water resistance, but it didn’t. But all of that is necessary to keep the price down. OnePlus is not a plucky little startup anymore and can't survive selling just one phone model per year. The OnePlus 10T starts at RM3,199, which is pretty decent for a flagship phone nowadays. If you want a phone with super fast charging, adequate battery life, great for multitasking, and close to stock android with decent cameras, you can consider getting this smartphone. Before ending this review, I do want to talk about the decision made by OnePlus to remove its iconic alert slider and what I think about it. As a long-time user of OnePlus, it does sadden me that the company has decided to remove their signature alert slider that has been part of them since the OnePlus 2. This makes the phone lose its identity and comes off as a generic phone like many others in the market. Despite removing the alert slider, I do not really see this as a flaw as the company did explain that the removal had to be done due to the required space for larger batteries and more antennas. Honestly, I do not use the alert slider as much as I thought I would. A great analogy for this situation is when you’re having the flu, you sort of underestimated the times when you could breathe with ease but after when you’ve recovered, the thought would not even cross your mind until maybe when you have the flu again.

This WAS The Best Phone For Most People

This is the OnePlus 10T, and if you're confused by the purpose of this phone, you're not alone. See, this is not the successor of the OnePlus 10 Pro that I praised earlier this year. Instead it's meant to be a follow-up to the OnePlus 10 we never really got to see. It's technically better in certain ways than the 10 Pro, as is every T launch in the fall, but in general, the Pro is still the Pro. As such, this is the phone OnePlus makes for its core audience. The sales pitch for the OnePlus 10T is pretty straight-forward in my opinion. This is a phone for those who want a lot of power, who use their phone heavily throughout a day, and who would then need insanely fast charging to give them more time to use it without needing to be plugged in for long. This seems almost like a gaming phone when you describe it that way, and it might be that. You can spec it out with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM like a gaming phone, the display is big and at 120Hz, and yeah, the charging is ridiculous (in a good way). This has all of the markings of a phone you could play the most robust games on, even if OnePlus won’t specifically say that’s why they made it. This phone isn’t for those who want a top tier camera, wireless charging, or the most premium build or feel. Since you aren’t paying the price that those extra specs would command, well, that’s all there is to say.

For its conservatively specced camera, it delivers an okay experience, the display is solid in its average-ness, battery life is similarly middle-of-the-road - all of these to be taken in a good way if that makes any sense. In its essence, the OnePlus 10T is an upper-midrange phone with a top-tier chipset and class-leading charging capability. We'd say it's priced accordingly and is worth what OnePlus is asking - perhaps you can read that as sort of a recommendation.

OnePlus 10T gets most of it right with just a few areas for improvement here and there. At the price point, the OnePlus 10T is clearly the phone with the best performance, which is the result of the flagship processor and clean software. As said, the camera of the 10T is also decent just that some areas like the wide angle and macro can be improved through software updates. The design, build, battery and display are all up to the mark in this one. However, I really miss the alert slider in this one. OnePlus recently said that it is working really hard to bring the alert slider back to its phones. The company also said that it was due to technical challenges that they had to remove the slider, which somewhere set OnePlus apart from the competition. Overall, the OnePlus 10T 5G for the price of around Rs 50,000 is a pretty good deal. The competition, though, is quite tough with really good phones like iQOO 9T 5G, and others being there. The company possibly understands that it is offering the OnePlus 10T for a discount price of around Rs 45,000, which makes it an even more tempting deal.

Last year, OnePlus skipped the T model and went directly for the next generation. The OnePlus 10T has everything one would expect from a near-flagship phone. The performance is really good and the fast charging feature is a winner all the way. Starting at Rs 49,999, the OnePlus 10T faces a lot of competition. There will be areas where the iQoo 9 Pro does much better and somewhere the Pixel 6a could be a better choice. Having said that, the speed and performance of the OnePlus 10T make it a very attractive proposition in this segment. The gaming performance also gives the OnePlus 10T a slight edge over rivals. The OnePlus 10T — even without the alert slider — is a really good phone that has all the capabilities to become a good choice for buyers in this price segment.

The OnePlus 10T has launched in India in August 2022 at a starting price of $649 (Rs 49,990 in India) approx. The OnePlus 10T has a similar design to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone has a 6.7-inches Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also supports HDR10+ and 1B colors. There is no doubt that the OnePlus 10T is absolutely a powerhouse and is focused on speed. The phone brings a lot of performance upgrades and features over its predecessor. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 performs fast, and the 150W charging is even faster. I wished the camera could have been a little better. However, the phone also misses out on a few things like wireless charging, IP rating and the iconic alert slider to keep its price tag under 50K. Now I don’t know how removing the alert slider saves money for the company but anyways, it’s gone. Overall, the OnePlus 10T is still a great device and is aimed at power users who want flagship performance at a flagship price.

I'd also say that the design feels like a slight step down from the OnePlus 10 Pro but then it is a fair amount more affordable so I can get past that. Whether you choose to buy this or the OnePlus 10 Pro will depend largely on what you use your phone for the most, and what your budget is. If you need something that will keep up with your busy schedule or that will cope with particularly demanding apps, then the 10T will be perfect. But if you care more about having a top-quality screen and a camera that will let you take professional-looking shots then you’ll be better off with the Pro.

The OnePlus 10T isn't perfect, but it's a very good phone that could even be an Editors' Choice winner if the company addresses two issues. First, OnePlus must fix the exposure algorithm in the camera software. The company can't create an optical zoom out of thin air, but I'm confident it can fix the current software issues. Second, OnePlus needs to ditch the overburdened OxygenOS 12 skin as quickly as possible; OxygenOS 13 desperately needs to make a clean break. The OnePlus 10T won't be available for preorder until Sept. 1 and doesn't hit shelves until at least Sept. 29 (possibly later for carriers), so we can only hope that OnePlus uses that interim period to address these issues. Whether you should pick the $649 OnePlus 10T over the $599 Pixel 6 or the $749 iPhone 13 depends on if you want to trade a bit of camera quality for better connectivity and super-fast charging. The $799 Galaxy S22 is closer in price to the 10T than the $999 S22+, but the S22+ is a better match for the OnePlus handset's size and performance.

However, you can get some nice quality images out of the 10T and fun 4K videos that you can share with family and friends. It’s not meant to film your magnus opus, but you could try. For under $750, you can max out the OnePlus 10T and walk away knowing you now own a great do-it-all phone and still afford to pay your rent. That’s a win in my book.

With the OnePlus 10T, the Shenzhen brand is focusing on a specific user group — gamers and performance enthusiasts, and that’s exactly where it delivers. The OnePlus 10T has all the traits that both of these camps look for, but without the over-the-top look-at-me aesthetic we often see in this category. Performance is about as good as it gets and, more importantly, stays there thanks to efficient cooling and excellent optimization. The software experience may be heavily Oppo-influenced, but it’s feature-rich and there’s no untoward bloatware or significant bugs. Battery life also impresses, and the unbelievably fast charging speeds trounce any competition in the US by a ludicrous margin. The display is great too — another OnePlus hallmark. There is a lot of classic OnePlus in here, from the era before it started making more expensive premium flagships. The original OnePlus was all about high-end performance at a good price, and that is something the OnePlus 10T excels at. Unfortunately, that throwback feel also comes with some of old-school OnePlus’ less desirable traits.

The OnePlus 10T is a well-rounded premium smartphone. It offers great display quality, powerful performance, and super fast charging speeds. We were also suitably impressed with the performance of the primary camera on the back of the phone. Since this is not the company's flagship (that honor still belongs to the OnePlus 10 Pro), the OnePlus 10T had to cut some corners. Things like a plastic frame and IP rating have become par for the course for OnePlus phones and the 2MP macro camera should have been left on the chopping block. The removal of the alert slider is also unbecoming of a OnePlus device, no matter the justification offered. In the end, the OnePlus 10T does little to differentiate itself from its siblings in the Oppo and Realme family, both in terms of hardware and software, and lacks any standout features like the ones we are seeing in the competition. Regardless, it is a well-performing, reliable device that may not be exciting but will get the job done.

Overall performance is top-of-the-line here. The 10T starts fast and stays that way even during long gaming sessions, thanks to its new 3D Cooling System and HyperBoost Game Engine—we're a little remiss to throw around superfluous marketing tripe like that, but these features do seem to make a difference. When other phones get uncomfortably toasty and throttle their SoC, the OnePlus 10T keeps on trucking, which could be in-part thanks to Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip as well. Regardless, the 10T proves that OnePlus knows how to design powerful, efficient mobile hardware, even if it misses the mark in other areas. The software, on the other hand, could use some work. The code merger with Oppo has resulted in a substandard experience with missing features and awkward user interactions. Even though it's based on Android 12, there's virtually no support for Material You theming, and the home screen is a real step back from the one included with OxygenOS 11. We will, however, give OnePlus credit where it's due for its update guarantee.

As I mentioned in the intro I have been using the phone for the last few days when I have been on holiday in Wales and it has barely missed a beat with normal use. I have been using it for all the normal holiday-ish things i.e. as a Sat nav via Android Auto, my camera, looking up places to eat and go on days out and as a phone for calling venues and friends and family. The battery has been getting me through a normal full-day use even with the sat nav running only needing a quick top-up when on the really long days. What a strange smartphone the OnePlus 10T is. In a way, it’s an evolution of a phone that doesn’t exist because no one wanted it. And in another way, it’s like a Nord phone has escaped from its end of the factory, then accidentally been released without the right branding and at a laughably high price in several parts of the world. The only real reason to consider buying the OnePlus 10T is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, but if that’s your main criteria, I’ll point you towards the Asus Zenfone 9 instead. It’s much better. Yes, the 10T’s fast charging is very fast, but it’s not drastically faster than the OnePlus 10 Pro, just like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 isn’t that much faster than the 8 Gen 1. There’s nothing really wrong with the OnePlus 10T. It works well enough, and to a certain extent, fits the OnePlus T series criteria. However, for not a lot more money you can get the 10 Pro which is made of higher quality materials, the screen is more attractive, the camera takes better photos, it has the alert slider, and those lovely haptics, too.

So, the big question is should you get one? For the kind of people who crave speed, the OnePlus 10T is an interesting device. It has top-of-the-line performance, a big OLED screen and stupidly fast charging for just $650 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or $750 for the 16GB + 256GB config. Its camera quality is solid too, even though I wish OnePlus had opted for a zoom lens instead of a macro. And its battery life is truly superb. The somewhat disappointing part are some of the cuts made to achieve all this speed. You don't get OnePlus' signature Alert Slider, there's no support for wireless charging, and its water resistance is mediocre. Another annoying wrinkle is that OnePlus has yet to detail carrier compatibility for the US (the company says more info will be available closer to launch, stay tuned for updates) .So while it's super fast, the OP10T isn't as well-rounded as phones like the Pixel 6. To complicate things even more, alongside the 10T's release, OnePlus is permanently reducing OP 10 Pro's starting price from $899 to $799.

Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Qualcomm sostiene che è il 30% più veloce dell'Adreno 660 nel SoC Snapdragon 888. Per Android dovrebbe essere una delle schede grafiche più veloci alla fine del 2021.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

SD 8+ Gen 1:

SoC di fascia alta per smartphone introdotto alla fine del 2021 e prodotto in 4 nm presso TSMC. Integra un "Prime Core" basato su architettura ARM Cortex-X2 con clock fino a 3,2 GHz. Altri tre core ad alte prestazioni sono basati sull'A710 ma con clock fino a 2,5 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core a risparmio energetico basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A510 con clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem WiFi 6e, un DSP Hexagon (per l'accelerazione AI) e un ISP Spectra. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta la memoria LPDDR5 veloce fino a 3.200 MHz. Il 5G è ora incluso nel chip con il modem Snapdragon X65. Rispetto alla versione non plus, l'8+ Gen 1 offre un Prime Core con clock superiore di 200 MHz e una GPU con clock superiore del 10%. Inoltre, ora è prodotto da TSMC e non da Samsung.
