EN→ITLenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio. The color coverage is quite limited (53% of sRGB), which makes the image look a bit dull. However, the backlight doesn’t use PWM for brightness adjustment. This results in a comfortable viewing experience at every brightness level. Unfortunately, the battery life is not good. At least with the smaller 45Wh package. We got 5 hours and 30 minutes of either Web browsing, or video playback. This is nearly a two-hour decrease compared to last year. Now, we can’t pass up the opportunity to mention the performance. It is not bad, but at the same time, could have been a lot better. With laptops like this one, you mostly rely on short-burst loads, where high clock speeds are pretty much essential. Yes, the device is chewing through every daily task you can think of, but you can never have even more speed, right? One thing that could have not even wished to be better is the port selection. You get plenty of USBs, one of which is a Thunderbolt 4 port. Add a LAN port, an HDMI connector, and an SD card reader, and you get all of the MacBook users in the office to envy you badly. Overall, what is really important in our view, is that the ThinkBook 14 Gen 4 is really comfortable to use. Its keyboard is spill-resistant and is a breeze, the display doesn’t strain your eyes excessively, and there is very little fan noise and heat coming from it. We think that it is a great addition to your workflow… provided you don’t need long battery life.

Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G7 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 80 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Un processore mobile basato su Alder-Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper-threading, che consente l'elaborazione di 12 thread. La CPU funziona a frequenze comprese tra 0,9 e 4,4 GHz. Il TDP è di 15 Watt.
