Recensione Lenovo Tab P12: con il display 3K è perfetto per i contenuti multimediali!

Ad un prezzo di circa 370€ in offerta attuale il Lenovo Tab P12 è un prodotto assolutamente consigliabile se rientrate in quella fascia di utilizzatori descritta in precedenza, tra chi visualizza molti contenuti multimediali o gioca a titoli graficamente non troppo impegnativi. In questi ambiti si sfrutta il meglio del display e non si avverte allo stesso tempo il "limite" del refresh rate a 60Hz. Escluso ciò la scelta dei materiali, il software, l'audio e la batteria sono assolutamente sopra la media. Anche la scelta del SOC la trovo azzeccata su questa fascia di prezzo seppur una soluzione leggermente più potente avrebbe reso il tablet più appetibile. Trovo la scelta dell'usare ex SoC top di gamma, come fatto da Xiaomi o OnePlus ad esempio, più azzeccata poiché la spesa rimane la stessa ma il potenziale è nettamente superiore. Benissimo come sempre il supporto e gli accessori Lenovo che fanno decisamente la differenza tra smart pen, tastiera e smart cover.

La recensione di Lenovo Tab P12 è stata un’occasione interessante per entrare in contatto con un prodotto che non avevamo mai testato nelle generazioni precedenti. Il suo elemento più rilevante è sicuramente il gigantesco display di discreta qualità, che ne fa un oggetto di grande utilità se si ama consumare contenuti in streaming, o se si cerca un tablet per navigare in Internet, leggere la posta elettronica e, all’occorrenza, svolgere anche qualche attività di lavoro. Troviamo questo tablet meno adatto a carichi di lavoro importanti o ad un uso particolarmente intenso con videogiochi dalla grafica molto ricca. In ogni caso, un ottimo rapporto tra prezzo e prestazioni. Il tablet Lenovo Tab P12 ha uno schermo superlativo, ma qualche incertezza sul software, probabilmente perché la scelta del processore Mediatek Dimensity 7050 non è la migliore possibile. Supporta la penna e ha una tastiera (opzionale) inserita nella cover.

Lenovo ha realizzato questo tablet prevalentemente per studenti e giovani, per utilizzo scolastico, sessioni di gioco leggero (possibile rinunciando a qualche dettaglio) e multimedialità: per me, l’obiettivo è stato centrato in pieno, e anche qualcosa di più. Non sono uno studente ormai da secoli, ma mi sono molto divertito e l’ho utilizzato volentieri, anche per attività che vanno oltre l’utilizzo base di un tablet. Ci sono inevitabilmente dei compromessi, ma l’offerta è buona (449 € tablet e penna, 589 € con tastiera e cover stand) e con i fisiologici cali di prezzo potrà diventare ancora più interessante.

Lenovo Tab P12 (TB370FU) review – great build quality and 3K display

If you are on the hunt for a big-screen tablet that doesn’t cost a fortune, the Lenovo Tab P12 (TB370FU) should possibly be on your shortlist. The device has a sharp 12.7″ IPS display with punchy colors that offers detailed picture quality. We watched some 4K YouTube videos on the big screen of the Lenovo machine and they look great thanks to the quality high-res panel. The build feels solid, the back is made of metal and we didn’t observe any bends or squeaky noises while trying to bend the device a bit. The quad JBL speakers sound good and the maximum volume is on the high side. The pictures that we take using both cameras are okay for a tablet. The back is an 8MP snapper that can also record 1080p 30FPS video (but the quality is below average) while the front one is able to capture 4K clips that looked detailed for a tablet. The device isn’t bloated with unnecessary software.
