Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3a gen è un tablet piacevole esteticamente, ben costruito e che si tiene davvero bene in mano, soprattutto in verticale. Ha Android 12 come sistema operativo nativo, e questo già di per sé garantisce una buona esperienza d'uso, destinata poi a migliorare nel tempo con il rilascio nel 2023 di Android 13. Molto bene display e audio, che con i suoi quattro speaker Dolby Atmos permette di godersi appieno i contenuti multimediali. E poi c'è la possibilità di utilizzare il pennino, opportunità che non ho avuto - e dunque non posso trarre conclusioni in tal senso - ma che rappresenta un plus dato dalla suite messa a disposizione da Lenovo. Poi arriviamo alle note dolenti, riassumibili in una generale lentezza e scattosità che in certi contesti può risultare forse un po' troppo frustrante. Il tablet va comunque contestualizzato nella fascia a cui appartiene, che è quella bassa, in cui è già difficile trovare tra i concorrenti chi è in grado di offrire ad esempio un design così curato o un display che ritengo degno di una gamma leggermente superiore.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus arriva alla terza generazione confermandosi come un tablet pensato principalmente per gli amanti di film e serie TV, grazie all’ottimo display 2K in dotazione, ai quattro, buoni altoparlanti con Dolby Atmos e alla batteria da 7.700 mAh. Non si tratta affatto di un dispositivo pensato per giocare e, anzi, la sua potenza inciampa anche nel multitasking lieve; a ciò si aggiungono un comparto fotocamera sottotono e una ricarica rapida non così veloce, comunque prevedibili in un tablet di questo genere. A compensare sono le molteplici funzionalità dedicate all'intrattenimento, come Kids Space ed Entertainment Space, perfette per gestire il tablet, specialmente se utilizzato dai più piccoli. Tutto sommato, Lenovo Tab M10 Plus è il tablet di fascia medio-bassa di riferimento se cercate un modello focalizzato sull’intrattenimento leggero.

In conclusion, we can say that the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 is a tablet that will definitely satisfy the needs of students, and people, who need a portable device for entertainment. It features a large 10.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 by 1200 and a pretty decent maximum brightness. Its quad-speaker setup will make even significantly more expensive tablets cry for their mommy. However, we are brought back to reality by the camera quality. It is not the best out there, and even in well-lit conditions, the limitations of Full HD video can be seen. We had the Wi-Fi model, which features the Helio G80 SoC, and we can say that it leaves something on the table in terms of performance. Although it is not the most powerful chip out there, it is good for day-to-day tasks like studying, watching videos, and playing the occasional non-intensive game. Moreover, its efficiency is fantastic. Our unit dropped only 4% of its battery for 20 minutes of gaming, which equals about 8 hours and 20 minutes of continuous gameplay.

If you’re looking for a solid Android tablet for under $200, then the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) is a great choice. As long as you keep in mind that it’s not as powerful as other tablets on the market, you won’t ever be truly disappointed by what the Tab M10 Plus is bringing to the table outside of some ill-timed app crashes. As a device for widescreen streaming and simple app usage? You could do a lot worse even when spending a lot more. The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 2) can still be found at most electronics retailers at a discounted price, but there are enough meaningful improvements to the third generation — as well as the promise of Android 13 later down the line — that it’s a good idea to stick with it even if it might be slightly more expensive. The only other tablet on the market at the same price point as the Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) would be the Galaxy Tab A. However, while it boasts similar specs, it has a much lower screen resolution. Obviously, you’ll be able to find more powerful tablets that can run professional programs and apps at just about every retailer you visit, but those will all start at upwards of $300. If you’re looking for a powerhouse tablet, then something like the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 would be a better option. But if all you need is a streaming and e-reading tablet, then you don’t need to waste the money on something with features you won’t use. For the right person and budget, this could very well be one of the best tablets you can buy.
