But if you just want a skinny little system to do basic stuff—surfing and e-mailing, preparing documents, viewing videos, looking at photos and maybe editing a few of them—the Lenovo works fine, even better than fine in our anecdotal test.

The Lenovo U310 Touch is an ideal ultrabook for the cost conscious business user. The sleek design is great for travel, and the Intel i5 processor with 4GB of RAM provides the performance users need to stay productive at an affordable price point. Media intensive users will likely find the machine's short battery life (while playing media) and lackluster sound system serious deterrents. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Touch isn't for them. The Lenovo IdeaPad U310 is best suited for users who want a portable device that offers adequate utility at an affordable cost.

Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processore grafico high end tra i modelli Ivy Bridge. Offre una differente velocità clock nei diversi modelli di CPU (da ULV a desktop quad core) e di conseguenza con prestazioni variabili.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
