Utilizzatori non compulsivi, attenti all’estetica, che apprezzano la maneggevolezza di un telefono dalle dimensioni contenute e allo stesso tempo sono attratti dalla definizione di uno schermo importante e di tutto rispetto.

LG Q6 è un telefono che offre uno schermo molto grande (5,5") con l'ingombro di uno smartphone molto più piccolo (5"-5,2") e con un rapporto display/cornici davvero grande. Se in ambito video la caratteristica non è sfruttabile al meglio (i contenuti in 16:9 vengono riprodotti con bande nere ai lati e dimensione effettiva di circa 5,2" di diagonale), le pagine web mostrano molti più contenuti e stesso discorso vale per i testi (email ad esempio) e ancora di più per le chat, con circa tre righe di vantaggio rispetto a un display tradizionale.

LG Q6 è un discreto smartphone di fascia media, forse solo un po' pigro per quanto riguarda le prestazioni. Lo schermo da 5,5 pollici incastonato in uno smartphone compatto grazie alla tecnologia FullVision è però un bel vantaggio. E nella sua fascia di prezzo Q6 al momento è l'unico del suo genere. L'abbassamento (già confermato) del prezzo lo renderanno presto decisamente più appetibile.

A 349 euro resta comunque indubbiamente uno smartphone che avrebbe dovuto offrire qualcosa in più, soprattutto in relazione alla cavalleria del comparto hardware e all'autonomia. Una volta abbattuto il muro dei 250 euro potrebbe però diventare una alternativa da tenere sicuramente in considerazione.

Fortunatamente il prezzo promozionale di vendita al lancio è di 299 euro. Perchè promozionale? Perchè ufficialmente il prezzo è 349 euro ma LG Italia, in collaborazione con i maggiori vendor, applica uno sconto immediato di 50 euro. A questo prezzo ci stà, non è un best buy, ma nell'uso quotidiano non delude. Anzi, le dimensioni di scocca e display convincono parecchio. Davvero peccato per quello che poteva essere il telefono dell'estate ma che lo è solo a metà. Comodissimo da usare ma senza sensore impronte e con prestazioni da base-medio gamma. Con il 625 e fingerprint sono sicuro sarebbe stato uno dei miei preferiti!!

Its 18:9 Full Vision display, meanwhile, adds a third dimension to the Q6, much like the G6. There are no second thoughts about the fact that the LG Q6 is one very good looking device. But priced at Rs. 14,999, it faces some tough competition from the likes of Xiaomi, Moto, Lenovo, Huawei, and even Samsung. Apart from the 18:9 screen ratio, there is nothing particularly outstanding in the device. The camera is decent, the battery is average, and the overall performance is not that great. You get a similarly specced device (minus that display but plus a larger battery), the Xiaomi Redmi 4 under Rs. 10,000, and if we move into the Q6’s price range, then the likes of the Lenovo K8 Note, the Redmi Note 4, the Honor 6X and the Moto G5 Plus start making their presence felt, more than matching it in all departments other than that display. The Q6 definitely looks future proof, but its performance and price hark more to a period of the past.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
