I was hyped with original Zenbook UX430 back when it was released, but a lot has changed in the meantime, and as of mid 2018 the Zenbook UX430UN is only a good buy if you can find it for a really great price. It's still a nice product, don't get me wrong, but it just looks better on paper than it behaves in real life, and it comes with a handful of compromises you'll have to accept. On top of that, there are many more viable competitors to consider these days than back in 2017. The article below explains this conclusion.

Asus seems to have paid attention to what the market really wants, and that is a simple, no-nonsense laptop that's easy to carry around. Even with the base model, you get a modern processor and comfortably large SSD, and we're happy to see that creature comforts such as the excellent screen and backlit keyboard are common across the board. We aren't thrilled about the lack of useful ports, which is the only truly major limitation here.

Scheda grafica per laptop basata su Pascal GP108 e versione mobile della GeForce GT 1030. Offre 384 core shader e solitamente 2 GB GDDR5 con un bus di memoria a 64 bit. Realizzata in 14 nm.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
