A lot of gamers swear by variable or at least high refresh rates and loudly proclaim that they could never go back to a normal 60Hz monitor. We aren't quite as militant, and maybe that has to do with the relatively low immersiveness you get with a 15.6-inch laptop screen, but it's still a luxury we could get used to. If you spend a lot of time in competitive esports, you'll get more mileage out of such a laptop. The inclusion of some punchy speakers, the LED lit keyboard, and comprehensive connectivity all sweeten the deal though. Battery life is disappointing, so you'll want to keep your eyes peeled for an outlet or take the power brick with you. In addition to poor battery life, the cooling system is super loud under demanding loads. The noise doesn't bother me much, but it could be distracting in a classroom environment. The starting price is also pretty steep. Nitpicks aside, if you've got the money for it, the Scar is a nicely balanced laptop for the right buyer.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile:

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Mobile:

La mobile GTX 1060 si basa sul chip GP106 ed offre 1280 shaders. Rispetto alla versione desktop con nome identico ha un clock rate leggermente inferiore. II giochi in Full HD e dettagli massimi dovrebbero girare in modo fluido con questa scheda.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Mobile:

Scheda grafica Pascal based high-end mobile basata su un GP104 ridotto (come la GTX 1080) e memoria grafica GDDR5. E' il successore della GTX 980M con un TDP più alto di 10 Watts. Simile per prestazioni alla GTX 1070 desktop, ma con più shaders e velocità clock inferiori.

Intel Kaby Lake:

i5-7300HQ:

Processore quad-core per notebook basato sull'architettura Kaby Lake che gira a 2.5 - 3.5 GHz senza Hyper Threading (che è supportato dalle più veloci CPUs i7). Il chip integra anche una GPU HD Graphics 630 con clock da 350 - 1000 MHz ed è realizzato con processo da 14 (migliorato rispetto alla Skylake).

Intel Coffee Lake:

i7-8750H:

Processore basato sull'architettura Coffee Lake per computer portatili grandi e pesanti. Integra sei processori con clock a 2,2 - 4,1 GHz (4 GHz con 4 core, 3,9 GHz con 6 core) che supportano l'HyperThreading. Prodotto con un processo migliorato in 14nm (14nm++).
