If you're on a tight budget then the Acer V5-122P may prove quite a good value for money laptop. Its computing speed is low, but the build quality and screen are definitely above average for a bottom-dollar laptop. Unfortunately, the battery life is a real weakness, and could prove to be a deal-breaker for many people.

However, the $399 HP TouchSmart 11z lasts far longer on a single charge and also offers a touch-screen experience in an equally compact form factor.

The Acer Aspire V5-122P reminds us of the long-departed netbook, both for its body and its performance. Even the battery is disappointing. It's an even greater shame given that for once we find a laptop with a decent screen. For the over £350 that our model costs, you might as well get a tablet.

AMD Radeon HD 8250:

Scheda grafica integrata dell'APU AMD A6-1450 ("Temash"). Basata sull'architettura GCN, integra 128 unità shader ed ha un clock da 300 - 400 MHz.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
