EN→IT Archive.org versionThe Acer Aspire R 14 (R3-471T-77HT) will certainly last all day and into the night on battery power. It's also a very good performer on our benchmark tests, even if its margin of victory is slight. It's therefore unfortunate that the rest of the system is so lackluster. Lots of little stumbles, like the mass of bloatware, loud touchpad, lack of Bluetooth and 5GHz Wi-Fi, and fuzzy, low-resolution screen keep the Aspire R 14 from earning a higher score. While $230 more expensive, the HP Spectre x360 13t (13-4003) holds on as our Editors' Choice midrange convertible-hybrid laptop because it has a clearer IPS screen with 1080p HD native resolution, much less bloatware, and better connectivity, including 802.11ac.
