Il realme 8, ci ha sorpreso molto positivamente, il processore MediaTek, si comporta egregiamente affiancato da ottimizzazione, 6GB di RAM e memoria con standard UFS 2.1 che gli danno una bella mano e il sistema gira sempre fluido e senza problemi di sorta. L’autonomia è ottima, quasi impossibile rimanere a piedi anche con uso intenso, dove in tal caso ci può venire in aiuto la ricarica rapida tramite il caricatore da 30W presente in confezione. Il realme 8, nella versione con 6 GB di RAM e 128 GB di archiviazione interna, è disponibile su Amazon ad un prezzo di 208 euro.

In generale Realme 8 è un dispositivo dalle buone caratteristiche tecniche e con un software davvero molto maturo, completamente personalizzabile e fluido. Qualche criticità nella fotocamera, ma più che sufficiente se non avete particolari pretese. Il tutto è abbinato ad una buona autonomia che ci permette di stare tranquillamente tutto il giorno fuori senza l’ansia di doverlo ricaricare. Tutto questo viene offerto ad un prezzo che attualmente (lo abbiamo testato a Maggio 2021) si aggira attorno ai 200 euro: il prezzo non è alto, anzi, ma a parer mio per lo stesso prezzo si potrebbe optare per uno Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 (migliore nella fotocamera) o addirittura sarebbe ancor meglio spendere un pochino di più ed acquistare la nuova variante 5G, ovvero il Realme 8 5G appena uscito.

Realme 8 è un validissimo smartphone di fascia bassa. Il suo pregio è quello di essere diverso: non ha abbracciato le mode del momento, ovvero 5G e refresh rate aumentato, concentrandosi su altro e diventando quindi un'alternativa interessante in un mondo di smartphone tutti uguali. Buon display, leggero, software completo, con jack audio, memoria espandibile e NFC.

Realme 8 4G is a well-put smartphone on paper. When it comes to real-life performance, the phone does have both pros and cons. Note that G95 is a solid SoC at this price tag and there’s no point denying it. The battery life, charging speeds, and Super AMOLED display are some of the USPs to bank although the company mentioned a brightness of 1000 nits which seems dubious. Note that Realme 8 4G is a well-put phone and thus, its cons are preferably minuscule in many cases while the pros and exceptional including 4K videos, 3.5mm headphone jack while trading off with no stabilization, no stereo speakers, and the same one two-old design with a plastic build.

Realme 8 is not the best vanilla version in the realme number series for me. I still like the Helio G90T on the Realme 6 because it offers higher refresh rate compatibility and higher settings available when playing games. However, power-wise, the Realme 8 does give beneficial growth among all of its predecessors. Unlike the Realme 7, the super AMOLED of the Realme 8 does offer a great impact in gaming. And if you add the battery capacity and charging speed, it will really give you what you pay for even the chipset only has 12nm architecture. To make it short, Realme 8–for the price of P13,990(8GB/128GB)–gives you more time and a worry-free user/gaming experience. What more it can give if you add a higher refresh rate on an AMOLED display.

Also despite the lofty advertised 1000 nits of max brightness, the legibility in bright sun is a challenge. Color rendition isn't particularly accurate either. The quad-camera setup also doesn't quite live up to its hardware potential. Realme has played it safe with the Realme 8. The phone is not a major upgrade from the Realme 7 apart from the display moving from LCD to AMOLED. With respect to the chipset, cameras, and battery, the two phones are identical. This means that Realme 7 users have no reason to upgrade to this phone. The predecessor also comes with an arguably better design. The Realme 8 is not as exciting as the Realme X7 and Realme Narzo 30 Pro that launched earlier this year. However, the Realme 8 is still a solid smartphone if you look at it in comparison to other devices in this segment. The closest competitor is the Redmi Note 10, which starts from Rs 15,999. By paying Rs 1,000 more, you get a 120Hz AMOLED display, a better set of cameras, and stereo speakers. The Realme 8 offers a great display, good cameras, and a decent performance, but it could have been a better successor to the Realme 7.

Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata.
