La nuova serie T di Xiaomi ha fatto centro e a nostro avviso proprio questo 13T è quello più focalizzato e interessante. Differisce dal fratello maggiore Pro per qualche dettaglio tecnico come processore e memorie meno performanti o minore velocità di ricarica che all’atto pratico di utilizzo non riescono a giustificare la differenza di prezzo. Il software ha già visto l’importante aggiornamento a HyperOS con Android 14 che lo ha reso ancor più fluido e reattivo e prevede altri 3 major update che si sommano ai totali 5 anni di aggiornamenti periodici. Molto efficace il comparto camera griffato Leica, completamente rivisto rispetto al predecessore e capace di catturare eccellenti scatti in tutte le condizioni con il sensore principale, buoni utilizzando grandangolo e zoom ottico 2X. Decisamente di qualità i video che possono avere una risoluzione fino a 4K 30 fps, mentre da rivedere e sostituire magari nella prossima generazione la selfie cam, la medesima presente su 12T e non al livello del resto del terminale.

Sommando tutto ciò che abbiamo analizzato ci rimane tra le mani un prodotto più che valido e che finalmente non è stato limitato forzatamente per risultare meno appetibile degli altri top di gamma presentati ad inizio anno. Xiaomi 13T Pro si inserisce perfettamente tra Xiaomi 13 e 13 Pro, offrendoci un pacchetto display-prestazioni-batteria al top del top e che soddisfa già con ciò le esigenze medie di chi si affaccia su un prodotto di fascia simile. Non delude poi il contorno con delle fotocamere con del potenziale, degli speaker/microfoni/vibrazione di livello ed un supporto software che finalmente sembra all'altezza di quanto speso. Ed a proposito di spesa, per portarci a casa questo Xiaomi 13T Pro dobbiamo sborsare una cifra pari a 799€ per la versione 12/256GB, 899€ per la 12/512GB e 999€ per la 16GB/1TB.

And it’s a good deal for a lower price, especially since the regular 13T is very similar to the “Pro” version, which, compared to our hero, doesn’t seem as advanced. Compare all the pros and cons to make your decision! Regarding the price, I understand that it might not fall clearly into the advantages or disadvantages. The manufacturer’s recommended price may be slightly elevated, but when compared to online prices and potential discounts, it can indeed be considered a very good purchase. The Xiaomi 13T offers good features without breaking the bank. While it has some minor drawbacks, it leaves a positive impression. The audio playback experience was mostly decent but unremarkable. The built-in speakers provided a nice dynamics rendition, even at loud volume levels, and unwanted audio artifacts were well under control. Overall, playback results were best when watching movies, and slightly lower for listening to music and playing games. In recording, the microphones picked up a lot of upper treble harshness, which could be tiring to the ears. Recordings often sounded harsh and too compressed, especially at high volumes. The Dimensity 8200-Ultra offers excellent performance and the 6.67in OLED display is a visual treat, especially when combined with the 144Hz refresh rate. The impressive 50Mp main camera, as well as the other three lenses on the 13T, are up to the task. Although it collects plenty of fingerprints, its sleek design, coupled with 67W fast charging, also adds to its appeal. Keep in mind, however, that these charging speeds come at the expense of battery life and even an incomplete day of use. The MIUI 14 overlay on top of Android 13 leaves a lot to be desired, although there will certainly be those who will like it. Considering the price, I am able to forgive the Xiaomi 13T a few minor inconveniences and it’s a solid option if it ticks your boxes.
