EN→IT Archive.org versionSony's Vaio SB is one of the nicer business laptops we've tested recently. It's thin and light, with few or no compromises, and it even fits an optical drive in. We did find Sony's labelling of the SB's GPU switch amusing, but there's a lot to be said for a physical switch to handle shifting between integrated and discrete graphics. You get the benefit of Sandy Bridge in its long battery life and good performance, and multimedia home users won’t be disappointed. That may explain the range of colours; as well as business black, you can get the SB models in pink, silver and grey.

Sony has engineered a very small, light, and capable notebook for a reasonable price. Most of the upgrade costs on their site are fair, too; they're not charging Apple prices on memory or hard drives.

Hard drives are available in various guises, while the sheet super-battery can be had on offer for $75. A Blu-ray player is another $100. Gutsy yet gorgeous, the Sony SB is quite simply a great machine.

AMD Radeon HD 6470M: Scheda grafica di fascia medio-bassa basata sul Seymore XT e che sfrutta il processore video UVD3.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
