It's a 17.3in desktop replacement laptop that retails for around £480, making the Samsung R730 a potential option for anyone who wants a large, functional machine at a reasonable price. There's nothing particularly outstanding about the Samsung R730, but it's a solid, well-made machine that offers good value. Were it £30 or so cheaper it would score higher, but nonetheless it's a decent entry-level option.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M: Il core grafico dell'Intel GL40 e della GS40 sfrutta una GMA 4500MHD con un clock inferiore (400 contro 533 MHz). A causa della velocità inferiore del core, non c'è un supporto completo Blu-Ray Logo e le prestazioni di gioco sono leggermente inferiori.
Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
