It's enough to unseat the Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen 2 as the best premium workstation in terms of raw performance. But independents will pay dearly for that leading performance, with a design that's big and heavy, and a price tag that's even heavier. If you're less concerned with reliability and software compatibility, you can opt for the gaming-focused MSI GT77 Titan, but it's almost the same machine, aside from a few cosmetic RGB lights and a gamer-grade GPU. The MSI CreatorPro X17 is the workstation laptop to get if money is no object and performance is an absolute must, producing numbers that our previous Editors' Choice award holders, the HP ZBook Fury 15 G8 and HP ZBook Studio G8, could only dream of.

NVIDIA RTX A5500 Laptop GPU:
Scheda grafica professionale di fascia alta per laptop basata sul chip Ampere GA103S. Basata sulla GeForce GTX 3080 Ti consumer con driver certificati. Disponibile in diverse varianti di prestazioni che vanno da 80 a 165 W TGP (consumo energetico massimo).
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).

I display con dimensioni maggiori consentono risoluzioni più elevate. Quindi, i dettagli come le lettere sono più grandi. D'altro canto, il consumo energetico è inferiore negli schermi con diagonali piccole e su dispositivi più piccoli, più leggeri ed economici.

Normalmente i portatili con diagonale da 17” pesano di più. Il peso è un po' eccessivo per un portatile da 15” ma accettabile per dispositivi destinati ad un utilizzo stazionario.
