The Aorus X9 is a stunning machine and embodies the Aorus brand perfectly. The company surely won’t sell many, but as a so-called ‘halo’ product that influences future, more affordable Aorus laptops, it’s brilliant. I’d go as far to say that it ties with the Asus ROG Zephyrus as the most technically impressive laptop at Computex 2017.

It's fitting, because you can look at this sort of computational overkill like you would a performance vehicle. Your average person may not need it, or even know how to use it. Due GTX 1070 high-end in modalità SLI. Le prestazioni 3D dipendono dal supporto driver per i giochi e possono variare da 0 al 90% in più rispetto ad una singola GTX 1070.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

Processore quad-core per notebook basato sull'architettura Kaby Lake che gira a 2.9 - 3.9 GHz. E' il secondo modello per velocità della serie consumers H all'inizio del 2017. Il chip integra anche una GPU HD Graphics 630 con clocked da 350 - 1100 MHz ed è realizzato con processo da 14 (migliorato rispetto alla Skylake). Rispetto al Core i7-7820HQ, il 7820HK non ha features business come supporto vPro o TXT.
