It's hard not to fall in love with the Acer Aspire S7's looks and fall in love we did. This Ultrabook isn't only about looks however. Intelligent design and hardware choices means that this device performs just as good as it looks. If only the battery life was better and the keyboard more ergonomic, this could have been the best Ultrabook yet.

The Acer Aspire S7 Pro certainly looks beautiful, but it has too many problems to justify the price. We’d hoped the keyboard might have improved from last year’s model, but it hasn’t, and the issue with the touchscreen is a whole new problem that makes the laptop less pleasant to use. If you need a smart business laptop, the HP Elitebook 840G1 is a much better buy.

The Acer Aspire S7-392 may have its drawbacks (low battery life and gaming capabilities), but it's still a quality machine with an excellent screen—a rare feat for an ultrabook. It's definitely buy-worthy, depending how important gaming and battery life are for you.
