It's hard to recommend the Sony VAIO T13122CXS. At first glance the device is sleek and beautiful, but looks alone are not enough to carry a device, or justify a $700 price tag. While the notebook excels in certain areas, its faults all but negate those strong points. It offers a beautiful chassis, but the display is underwhelming; and where it has a comfortable quality keyboard, the multi-gesture touch is all but incompatible with Windows 8.

The Sony Vaio T-13 (SVT13126CNS) is a fairly premium ultrabook at is price. But that is only if you really need the touchscreen capabilities in addition. You might be better off considering the HP Spectre XT, the HP Envy 4 or the Lenovo IdeaPad U410 in case a capable ultrabook is all you need. And for the price it is available at, we would recommend it any day. The touchscreen is an additional bonus over the previous generation. However, if you aren't very finicky about having a touchscreen, the slimmer HP Spectre XT might be worth considering.

Oggi il suo core business è l'elettronica di consumo. L'azienda è impegnata nello sviluppo, progettazione, produzione e vendita di apparecchiature elettroniche, strumenti, dispositivi, console di gioco e software. Sony opera nei seguenti segmenti: giochi e servizi di rete, musica, immagini, home entertainment e audio, prodotti e soluzioni di imaging, comunicazioni mobili, semiconduttori, servizi finanziari e altri.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
