Un potente processore Core i7 assicura sufficienti performance nelle applicazioni quotidiane. Il core grafico integrato Radeon riesce a gestire applicazioni pesanti come il gaming, ma ci saremmo aspettati un modello più potente - la GPU non rientra nel concept complessivo del dispositivo. Un veloce solid-state drive garantisce una rapidità di lavoro senza problemi. Il portatile in genere è silenzioso e non si scalda molto. Sebbene non ci sia una cover per la manutenzione, è facile accedere ai componenti hardware: dovete rimuovere il lato inferiore. Il display 4K non impressiona. E' un display IPS con ampi angoli di visuale, ma i valori di luminosità e contrasto sono scarsi. Un dispositivo che costa 1149 Euro (~$1216) dovrebbe avere un pannello ed una autonomia migliori. Concorrenti nettamente più economici hanno maggiori cose da offrire rispetto all'Inspiron.
