L'Asus X750LN-TY012H ci ha convinti con le buone prestazioni con applicazioni e giochi. Il debutto della GPU GeForce 840M GPU è un successo: è chiaramente superiore al modello precedente (GeForce GT 740M) e offre frame rate superiori. Il consumo di energia non è molto elevato, a dispetto delle prestazioni del notebook. Dato che il notebook consma poco, si ottiene anche una buona autonomia della batteria. Infine si riceve uno spazioso disco fisso e 8 GB di memoria. Il display, però, merita delle critiche: il contrasto è scarso e la superficie è lucida. Non ci è piaciuta, inoltre, la scarsa possibilità di manutenzione del notebook: si dovrebbe avere almeno la possibilità di cambiare il disco fisso.
L'Acer Aspire V3-772G è una buona alternativa se sono necessarie prestazioni di gioco superiori e il Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 ci ha convinto con la sua silenziosità.
The Asus X750LN-TY012H can convince us with good application and gaming performance. The debut of the GeForce 840M GPU is a success; it is clearly superior to the predecessor (GeForce GT 740M) and offers higher frame rates. The power consumption is not very high, despite the decent performance of the notebook. According to the low consumption, you also get very good battery runtimes. Finally, you get a big hard drive and 8 GB memory. The display on the other hand deserves criticism: It only has a low contrast and a glossy surface. We also do not like the maintainability of the notebook; you should at least be able to replace the hard drive.
The Acer Aspire V3-772G is an alternative if you need more gaming performance and the Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 can convince us with a very low noise level.
