Dell Precision 5510: Slim, light and high-performance

Dell ha creato un dispositivo da ufficio estremamente attraente con il Precision 5510. In aggiunta alle features attraenti che sono innanzitutto lo spessore ridotto e i materiali high-quality, la qualità di costruzione e la stabilità del case sono altrettanto interessanti.

Nel complesso, il modello recensito ha prestazioni molto buono, nonostante i cali con condizioni estreme. Tuttavia non notiamo perdita di prestazioni negli scenari realistici.

Un highlight del Dell Precision 5510 è indubbiamente il pannello UHD IGZO. Ampia gamma di colore, buon contrasto, decente luminosità e sorprendete precisione del colore dopo la calibrazione. Unica pecca il consumo relativamente elevato che impatta sull'autonomia.

Tuttavia, da tre a quattro ore e mezza di autonomia sono raggiungibili in base allo scenario. Unitamente con un peso limitato 2.02 kg (~4.4 lb), consentono buone condizioni di mobilità.

Sebbene la connettività non sia ideale per una mobile workstation, include una Thunderbolt 3. Che copre vari standards e sostituisce le porte docking proprietarie.

Alcune business features mancano nell'XPS 15. Come lettore di impronte SmartCard reader e DisplayPort dedicata o modulo mobile broadband.

L'utente avrà una versatile e carina mobile workstation per un prezzo di circa 3200 Euro (~$3512). Se sia o meno il dispositivo adatto è una questione personale, di gusti, esigenze e preferenze.
