Dopo l'eccellente risultato del ThinkPad E460, l'E560 continua con le buone prestazioni e Lenovo è ancora una volta (in base alla configurazione) in grado di offrire un modello entry-level relativamente economico senza grandi pecche. Oltre alla consueta eccellente tastiera, dobbiamo citare il nuovo display IPS in particolare, che non solo offre una maggiore luminosità ed un contrasto superiore ma anche angoli di visuale maggiori rispetto ai pannelli TN che sono comuni in questa fascia di prezzo. Le performance sono abbastanza buone grazie all'SSD, agli 8 GB di RAM ed al processore Core i7, sebbene raccomandiamo un modello con CPU i5, che non è molto più lento, per chi vuole risparmiare. La scheda dedicata Radeon R7 M370 con memoria GDDR5 fornisce decenti prestazioni gaming con dettagli ridotti, ma la HD Graphics 520 integrata potrebbe essere sufficiente per applicazioni da ufficio e multimedia.

Non potete sbagliarvi quando comprate il ThinkPad E560 – ma dovreste pesare se avete bisogno di un processore Core i7 ed una GPU Radeon.

Abbiamo già detto che non abbiamo trovato grosse pecche durante la recensione, am ci sono ancora alcune cose che possono essere migliorate nella prossima generazione. Tra queste, uno slot libero M.2 ci farebbe piacere, come un accesso più facile alla ventola ed al sistema di raffreddamento, e la riproduzione del colore del display potrebbe essere migliorata. Tuttavia, come per la garanzia di appena 12 mesi, si tratta delle conseguenze del taglio del prezzo - Lenovo vuole ancora vendere le sue serie più costose L e T.
