L'HP ProBook 455 G2 dopo il nostro test lascia un'impressione generale piuttosto varia. Il portatile con un prezzo al di sotto di 400 euro (~ $ 446) attira con una decente connettività, dispositivi di input office-suitable ed una qualità del case superiore alla media. Naturalmente, un SSD veloce o una alta risoluzione dello schermo IPS non si trovano per questo prezzo, e quindi trascureremo questi punti.

Even if high-end hardware is not needed for Word, Excel & co., the user will expect a certain amount of performance reserves from a modern laptop, which the A6 Pro-7050B simply does not have. An intricate website is already enough to push the chip to its limits - it would have been better had HP installed a presumably equally priced quad-core from the Beema series here. Models, such as the A6-5310 not only calculate faster but also consume less power and would additionally increase the 455 G2's battery life.

A nostro avviso, lo svantaggio più grande sono le performance. Anche se l'hardware high-end non è necessario per Word, Excel e co., l'utente si aspetta una certa quantità di prestazioni riservate da un moderno computer portatile, che la A6 Pro-7050B semplicemente non ha. Un sito web complesso è già abbastanza per spingere il chip oltre i suoi limiti - sarebbe stato meglio se HP avesse installato un presumibilmente altrettanto simile quad-core dalla serie Beema. I modelli, come ad esempio l'A6-5310 non solo lavorano più velocemente, ma consumano anche meno energia e riuscendo inoltre ad aumentare la durata della batteria del 455 del G2

Gli acquirenti che sono interessati al ProBook 455 G2, nonostante le restrizioni elencate dovrebbero almeno prendere una configurazione con il A8-7100.

La praticamente identica costruzione del ProBook 450 G2 è anche un'alternativa interessante, proprio come i modelli concorrenti di Lenovo e Acer.
