The above-average input devices were impressive. The keyboard is characterized by an even and decent drop. We ascertained the same in the mouse replacement that can rightly be called that. Simple and multi-touch gestures are implemented smoothly and immediately. Although the review sample can be placed in the mid-range business category, an IPS screen is installed that achieves good rates in contrast and brightness.
In terms of performance, Dell's laptop stood up to its rivals and proved to be a strong opponent. The Latitude was also solid in the emissions rates. Like the Lenovo ThinkPad T440s, the temperature curve could be better though.
Unfortunately, the battery life is not enough for a whole workday. Although Dell does not offer a bigger battery, there is an external solution that is not exactly cheap with almost 160 Euros (~$198). The Latitude E5450 laptop is recommendable for business routine. However, looking at other, comparable laptops would also be advisable.
