Il Transformer Pad TF303CL offre molte cose che avremmo voluto vedere sul TF103C: una porta HDMI, una batteria più grande, uno schermo Full HD, ed una maggiore memoria. E' usato lo stesso SoC del TF103C che ha meno dotazioni e quindi le prestazioni sono tecnicamente alla pari, ma il TF103C ha un dispositivo di archiviazione più veloce. Le fotocamere del TF303CL sono molto più utili di quelle del TF103C, ma la loro qualità è ancora lontana rispetto ad un buon smartphone.

Tuttavia, nonostante il piacere per la configurazione migliore, alcune cose non quadrano. Ad esempio, la luminosità dello schermo è troppo bassa ora, il consumo energetico è nettamente più alto, ed il modulo GPS è meno preciso e più lento. I dispositivi di input della keyboard dock sono abbastanza utili e con possibilità di espansione. Gli utenti che hanno mani grandi e digitano parecchio non saranno felici della tastiera affollata.

Nel complesso, il TF303CL vale il sovrapprezzo rispetto al fratello minore. Tuttavia, non bisogna aspettarci miglioramenti su tutto. Il TF303CL è adatto poco all'utilizzo all'aperto a causa dello schermo scuro. E' piacevole da vedere e ben costruito. Va bene se cercate un dispositivo compatto, molto flessibile con prestazioni elevate e una adeguata autonomia. Il dispositivo sarà in vendita a settembre.

Se non vi interessa la risoluzione elevata e potete fare a meno della porta HDMI, potete risparmiare con il TF103C. Che ha anche uno schermo più luminoso ed una autonomia maggiore.

Asus migliora molte cose criticate sul TF103C con il Transformer Pad TF303CL.

Innanzitutto, la superfiche dà un'impressione migliore con la rifinitura soft-touch.

Ma il SoC è lo stesso, un Intel Atom Z3745 abbastanza potente.

La fotocamera è milgliore ma lontana da quelle di un buono smartphone.

Tuttavia, la luminosità non è soddisfacente.

Almeno gli angoli di visuale sono buoni.

I tasti sono affollati sul Transformer Pad TF303CL.

La tastiera è buona ma troppo piccola per chi ha mani grandi.

Il touchpad è un ClickPad, con un controllo decente.

Forse qualche tasto poteva essere omesso, ma ci sono molte funzioni utili.

Il peso del tablet di quasi 600 grammi non è contenuto, ma il Transformer Pad è facile da portare in giro.

L'inserimento e lo sgancio del tablet è funzionale.

La keyboard dock non ha una batteria aggiuntiva.

16 o 32 GB di spazio espandibile con micro-SD card.

Un porta USB 2.0 full-sized sulla keyboard dock.

La cerniera in metallo è regolata bene, né lenta né morbida.

L'uso all'aperto è difficile a causa di luminosità bassa e superficie lucida.

I tasti della tastiera on-screen un po' stretti a prima vista.

Le note a mano non sono inseribili senza una app extra.

Asus include molte apps per la connettività.
